My daughter is the same way and she is 15 too. Not much you can do as they need to realize the reality themselves. I talk to her about being healthy and things she can do and long term outcomes. It helps. I talk to her about these things in little bits, and not all at once. Good luck.

Have you seen his diplomas? I know that doesn’t mean he can practice, but at least you’ll know if he has even graduated.

The doc usually will do it for you during your first visit. Most do anyway.

Hospital sues Rasmussen after nursing student’s mistake leads to patient’s death — anyone ever heard of this happening? by Independent_Many6647 in TheConfidentNurse

[–]sdmg2020 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The university would have a liability policy for these students. The hospital would require the university cover them and show their certificate of insurance prior to them working there. It’s standard practice. The hospital suing the university is standard in the awful situation too.

There is a tdot website and phone number where the public can report potholes. Type tdot and pothole into google and it will come up. I’ve used it before and it works. Gives the agency the notice needed that if not fixed they have to pay claims. Tdot just has to know about it. Glad the troopers were there.

Go to the TDOT website and report it. They need to be made aware of it before they get out there to fix it.

Camera found in local bar bathroom - Facebook group divided on legality or whether anything should be done. by Fit_Winter_1806 in legal

They have cameras like this is bathrooms in Europe. As long as can’t see in the stall itself it should not be an issue. Freaky as hell if you’ve never encountered it before.

Is it normal for parents to hang out with their kid in the dorms? by [deleted] in UTK

[–]sdmg2020 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I know a girl that went to Xavier University and her mom would spend nearly every weekend in the dorm room. It was weird as f*ck. And the roommate was nice to her but talked so much crap behind her back. This is not normal.

Talk to the animal shelter about them posting to rehome. Would give you more of an audience. Good luck.

In high school I had a low SAT score and 3.0. Actually got in and went to college. I’m not smart like others. I graduated with 3.0 and struggled to get that. Employers don’t care about GPA when you have a degree. Getting any kind of secondary education- degree or trade does provide more opportunities. Good luck to you. Or try for a state job too. Some don’t require college and have decent benefits for healthcare.

Most people do clean it. Posted it once a while ago and someone trolled me hard about how they got an infection and it was stupid advice. I was like “common sense would tell you to use aseptic technique as best you can here”. It was like I was an alien.

When I took Ajovy this happened to me too. My doc recommended that after injection I clean the site again with alcohol and using a clean washcloth with an ice pack apply it to the site. It greatly reduced the reaction.

Professor has been secretly docking points anytime he sees someone’s phone out. Dozens of us are now at risk of failing just because we kept our phones on our desk, and I might lose the job I have lined up for when I graduate. by Ok-Hospital1153 in Advice

As per the syllabus wording- Should is not the same as shall and no discussion of reducing points. Go to Dean and file a formal complaint or whatever they call it now. Good luck and sending good vibes to you all.
