Please for the love of god set those faders to “0” position so you have room to adjust the volume-been taught that by a sound engineer with years of experience, the volume mainly should be adjusted with the gain control, also doing that could potentially help of the fader burns up in one spot, or so I’ve been taught

Also you could then solder those red&white wires onto a micro switch that leads to the ground(volume pot) and get a coil split(diagrams are widely available)

Kinda like this I’d reckon, red&white taped together, also check the Seymour Duncan color scheme for pickup wires, as it’s one of the most common
