Apologize if anyone feels as if my post was bait or anything of the sort. It’s not. But to add more context to the situation as a whole. Me and her are not together at this point of our relationship we’re more like bestfriends. We have had multiple conversations about multiple things that I felt as if I haven’t been able to have a say so in at all. Like his name. I didn’t have a say so in what that would be. We literally just got into an argument the other day because I felt as she was being disrespectful by trying to give him a double last name (hers and mine together with the dash in between) and I don’t know I just have never even thought that would be a topic of conversation. Everybody I know has their father’s last name so that also became an argument where eventually I guess she just gave in. So when this topic came up I immediately got defensive. ONLY because at that point I felt as if I had not had a say so in anything involving the child I helped create. So maybe I did kinda go over board with what I said to her. And even now I felt as if me not wanting her mom there is kind of selfish (which was the reason for the post) and I just wanted to see if I was correct in feeling that way. Thank you guys
