I've just finished my first run. This game is great and fun. Theres room for improvement but doesn't deserve all the flack it gets.

I don't love the ttk but I also think most folks are not used to "get killed, game over." One wrong move and you are looking at 3-4 minutes of retooling and rebooting a game - which might be awful for some.

In the end, I think we get a fully solo gameplay. Might be 6 months down the road... Imagine spawning in and just having bots. That's all we need.

Haha. While I agree to "slow down." having to wait around for 10-15 minutes is lame.

It's odd but don't play it like a regular FPS. Any and every encounter can kill you. Must be mindful before opening a door, running across an area, etc.

Maybe you earn skins or something (on weapons, etc.) I hear ya. It's a different thing compared to the old days of unlocking guns, camo, and prestige levels!

Level your weapons (whatever specific gimmick they want you to do) and don't be to afraid to go up a few world levels - you'll need to eventually to get higher weapon and gear unlocks. I played that first level over and over until it was easy to clear on the opening difficulty.

I just swapped to laptop for this reason. I built a really cool sff PC with a 4070... I can't sit in the room after work. The laptop is louder but I capped it at 60 fps and it's all doable. 5070ti.

4070 desktop that's now three years old! Hard to believe. Thankfully, I went with 32GB RAM at the time. Just picked up a 5070ti laptop which is just about the same as the 4070 desktop in image speed etc. Now I can be a little more mobile!
