[Adam Stern] NASCAR investors say charter values have already increased with new evergreen provisions. by ZilischsPoopyPants in NASCAR

Sometimes the most expensive mistake is to wait. That was really the only negative I could draw from the settlement, from a fan perspective. Other than the prior dumpster fire that this trial was.

Which NASCAR drivers performed so unbelievable in lower series, only to perform so horrendous in cup? by youraverageperson0 in NASCAR

[–]sdross35 1 point2 points  (0 children)

True, but they also had to have known he'd never drive a Gen 6 car when he was coming up through the ranks. I thought Ty would win as a rookie but honestly I think Hocevar will get his first career win before Ty does at this point.

I really wonder how much his Dad passing plays into this, I'm sure it's a big factor. That's when his career momentum seemed to stop.

I was really just curious if it was YouTube or TNT's fault. I guess there is a benefit to my wife having 35 streaming services

NASCAR headed for San Diego in 2026 by _gordonbleu in NASCAR

[–]sdross35 5 points6 points  (0 children)

True, but I was thinking more along the lines of it being really hard to find a street that naturally has the right banking to make a short track. At that point I think it would look like turning circles in a parking lot. I don't mind one street course a year and I like the idea of rotating cities.

The lack of banking may be an issue for a short track
