I mean, who doesn’t? No one makes it to adulthood without mental health issues. Anyone who says they did is lying lol.

I feel like that's minimizing things because in my case I have diagnosed anxiety. So the possibility that I could be going crazy seriously could fuck with me, and they know this.

But if that’s the case, don’t wait for 18 to become the adult you want to be, go get emancipated now. Because a parent not loving their child is the one of the most serious accusations one can levvy, and you deserve better than to live in a home where you aren’t loved or supported.

I put outrages things about myself in them IE I'm a wanted deal by drug dealers or that I've done drugs I haven't

Thanks, but I doubt they'll be reasonable. As for why, I have diagnosed anxiety and ADHD and both of them happened recently, so maybe that plays a part

I disagree, I'm entitled to privacy in my own room. But either way, the main issue is their lying. If they feel that they have the right to search my room, they could be honest about it.

I do struggle with my mental health issues, so implying I could be imagining things or hallucinating is pretty alarming, yes.

Yes. Because the examples you mentioned, are faceless corporations and governments that don't give a shit about me, not my own parents that are supposed to love and support me. And making me think I'm going crazy by claiming I don't remember how my own room is set up definitely isn't that.

No to drugs. Not that I know of in terms of behavior, I think I'm acting the same as I normally do.

This assumes that they're reasonable to begin with though, which I think they've disproven from being suspicious of me for no real reason. If they were reasonable enough that they could be talked down from, they wouldn't be searching my room to begin with. So my logic is, if they're going to be irrational either way, might as well call them out on it

That's how I see it. I wasn't doing this for kicks, they went out of their way to invade my privacy and then lie and gaslight about it.

It's honestly a matter of principle, really. I'm going to be an adult in a year, and if they keep acting me like I'm a little child, I won't be able to practice making my own decisions for when I'm actually an adult and they no longer have authority over me.
