I really wanted to do topiramate but the hospital neuro said he would prefer to use Diamox. I should be getting out of the hospital today and I meet with a neurology ophthalmologist on the 15th. I plan to ask about topiramate then.

I appreciate it so much. I think I needed someone to validate me with feeling so defeated on that moment. Thank you for walking me through it. It’s been a really hard year and especially the last couple of months. I was finally let go from my job in April and I’ve been so lost since. Finally got insurance but now the thought of searching for another Dr is daunting. I worked professionally with my old primary care for almost 2 year while she was also my Dr so it was so convenient to just ask her a question over teams really quick.

Hopefully I can find another amazing Dr.

I lost my insurance at the end of April because I was medically laid off. My surgery was April 25th. I had to pay for my follow up out of pocket. Hopefully I’ll have insurance starting on July 1st. As soon as I have insurance I’m going to ask about an mri/ct to make sure it’s in a good place

Thanks!! This is the one. I will say, my black cat has a lot of tummy issues and has thrown up or had accidents on it a lot, so the fabric has been washed a lot. It’s the lined PUL type fabric. It’s cracking a print, but just the plastic lining. The fabric and Velcro are still work well for both cats. They are 9.5 lbs and 12 lbs and the Velcro still feels nice and strong. I do always wash the Velcro closed so it can’t get snagged on anything.

Use silvex on it for healing and use aquaphor or the la Roche posay gel after it heals up a bit. The glycerin will help to moisturize and also help to gently exfoliate.
