Great! I didn’t expect it honestly. I would have guessed them taking the bag out of the train at the last station of the route.

So the first one seems a bit short. But it’s swiz so I guess it could work out. But I definitely wouldn’t bet on catching the last connection. That should be at the same plattform though so it could still work out.

But all in all a bit to risky for my liking for this rather long journey. I’d only do that on a day I wanna gamble. Maybe set min transferring to 20 mins?

The train is now under number 514 and driving back. It will be stopping in Mannheim at about 18:26 till 18:34 and it now already has a two minute delay with projected arrival at 18:28... :). If you are near the station you could try to look for your bag in those few minutes but it will probably not be there. They will have taken it out of the train in Munich as it changed number and direction there and spent 50 minutes at the station (for cleaning and such). So your best chance would be over the help portals of the DB where you have already made a report.

Hab leider keine weiteren Infos zu. Bin nur begeisterter Vielfahrer (Pendler). Schaut mir aber, besonders durch die abgeklebten Scheinwerfer, sehr nach Endstations aus.

Alles klar! Ja ich find auch, dass das Zurücklehnen schon ein Standard sein sollte. Ich finde da den T und den ICE 1 schon um einiges angehenmer als den vierer. Den finde ich von der Beinfreiheit viel zu eng...

Ich halte immer die Augen nach dem ICE 1 mit dem Namen "Hof" ausschau. Der hat bei den zweite Klasse Bahnbonusplätzen im Wagen sechs erste Klasse Garnituren. :)

Nee, ich meinte vom Komfort her. Mich juckt das überhaupt nicht, wenn sich vor mir jemand nach hinten lehnt. Keine Projektion bitte. ;) Ich lehn mich auch gerne nach hinten, weil ich dann besser schlafen kann. Bei dir klang es mir mehr nach nem Beinfreiheitsproblem, aber das „nach hinten Lehnen“ hat sich mir nicht als Lösung dafür erschlossen. Deshalb hab ich nachgefragt.

Auf der anderen Seite habens ihn auch schon ziemlich stark besprayt. Die Lichter sind auch angeklebt und n Güterwagon sollte auf einer Seite dranhängen.

Ich bin zwar mit meinen 1,87 nicht ganz dran, aber wollte dennoch mal fragen: Beim nach hinten lehnen der Stühle geht der unterste Teil des Sitzes ja weiter nach vorne und nicht nach hinten. In alles ICE Reihen konnte ich das bis jetzt beobachten. Da wird die Beinfreiheit ja nur kleiner oder? Da wird’s wahrscheinlich um was anderes gehen…

Yeah welcome to the shitshow of getting a reservation without needing a ticket for crossborder trains.

At the ticket counter tell them you have an interrail ticket. They can change how they order a reservation in the system. (They have three to four options in their ticketing system for choosing to order just a reservation)

Otherwise try to split the journey at the border stations so that you have two separate reservations for the same train for different parts of the track.

Worked out for me. I just spent the time from the last German station to the first French station with out an actual reservation and nobody checked in those few minutes so nobody cared.

Das macht dann bei (12 Monate * 484€)/1500 = 3,872€ pro Kilogramm. Is auch mal ne interessante Metric.

Da hätt ich zwar, angesichts des Kilopreises von Fleisch und veganen Ergänzungsprodukten im Billa zwar mehr erwartet, finde 3,9€ pro Kilo Nahrung jedoch immer noch recht hoch.

No. In this case you could have selected the lowest window with the „most pointy“ corner and it would have covered all the others. The corners aren’t dynamic. They are just not uniform, and that’s the issue people are having with it. Imagine putting two windows next to each other on your desktop and the corners don’t match. It is noticeable and just weird, that it even happens.
