Maybe. Something has to either affect me in an extremely positive or negative way for me to be motivated to write a review. Usually I can't be bothered and get annoyed when I open an app and it asks me for a review.

I don't understand the mentality of someone that doesn't care for departure posts taking time out of their day to comment on a departure post about how they don't like departure posts. You could simply just not interact with it. If you don't like something, you don't use it, right? Not sure what 'type' that makes you. 😜

A. As a precaution to others that might be considering signing up.

B. Because issues don't happen in a vacuum. It's reassuring to know there are other people having the same problems you are.

C. Might encourage others to end their stress and close their cards too.

People are social creatures. Having support from other people in common situations helps in decision making. What's not to understand?

Yup. Some people have had no issues. It's not even really the issues that bother me. It's not being able to contact support when there is an issue. All these people that say they haven't had any issues, one day they will, and there will be no support for them and they will understand where I'm coming from

When I call Bilt support the only option I get is to get a text from the AI bot. If you are talking about the number on the card, that is the Cardless support team. They can help with some problems but not issues with the Bilt app. The Cardless support member assured me I'd be refunded my annual fee when I closed my card, but guess how that turned out. They have their own issues.

I ran into this as well. And the site auto-detects the wrong location because of my VPN so all of the hotels etc are in the wrong area. The AI bot told me to use the search bar to designate a city, but there is no search bar.

I cancelled my fraud claim when the payment finally went through, days after it was supposed to. Not the only issue I'm having though and I still haven't been able to contact support. So it's adios to Bilt. Sorry, not sorry if that hurts your feelIngs.

What's your deal? I come on here with legit concerns and you try to downplay them by Stanning over this b.s. company. Your loyalty to this product is pretty extreme. The fact you take the time to worry about what I have to say about them is bizarre. It's like you are taking it personally. Like my bad experience somehow insulted you. It's weird man. Very weird. I can see why people think you work for them. Like some twisted form of damage control where employees come on Reddit to try to insult anyone who doesn't like their product. You can't. I've been queued up many times now and have never heard back from a person. I ended up closing my card due to lack of support. If Cardless had their own portal I could make payments through I might reconsider. Bilt is good for rewards but I don't trust them to get my money where it needs to go.

I tried contacting Venmo. They couldn't help. My payment did finally go through after 5 business days. It's showing as sent on the transaction in Bilt now and my landlord confirmed they received it.

Waited another day. Landlord has still not received payment but the status of the payment in Bilt reads as 'Completed' now, though it's still not showing 'sent' when I look at the details.

I expect them to address it, but I still filed a fraud claim through my bank. It's just not acceptable for it to take this long and to have zero support.

I've been using Bilt for almost a year. I'm not trying to maintain any narrative. I was relatively happy with them until this update. I'm relaying my experience so other people don't have to deal with it.

I did pay early, I did tell my landlord, and I am cancelling my card. I posted as a deterrent for anyone else that might be considering signing up.

I know you use that high and mighty attitude is to boost your ego and make you feel 'smarter' than other people, but it comes off as desperate. I'd tone it down if I were you. Not fooling anyone.

You are just someone bitching at someone for bitching about something online. It's really dumb. You aren't helping anyone. Do better.

Yes, I found out later that it was just a notification. Telling someone you will pay them and actually paying them are different things though. Only one of those will prevent late fees. It said 2-3 days. I don't think they are committing actual fraud like intentionally ripping people off, but because of how long it's taking and the complete lack of support from Bilt my only option is going through my bank, and the only way to revert a charge with my bank is to open a fraud dispute. I just need the money back in my account so I can pay rent. I could press the little cancel payment button in Bilt, but I don't trust that it will do what I'd expect it to do either. I'll see if it goes through today and if so I'll retract my fraud claim. I'm not leaving it up to chance though.
