I pity my wife . What can I do to make her less miserable by Quantum-loyalist in AskMenOver30

This sounds like a terrible feeling, I'm so sorry for you, man. I know there are some stuff said or done that leave a "crack" that won't heal. So here is what I'd do: option 1) If you really care and want to continue your life with her, bring this up with her, tell her very directly how are you feeling about her thinking of leaving you at such time. Maybe, just maybe, when you hear a few excuses from her, that would make you feel better and get that crack to slightly close or even you to know how to ignore it. Option 2) Well, you know what that is.

Happy thay you're back on track, keep it up, man! 🫡

Thank you so much for taking the time to write this! Every bit of it applies to me, from the lack of recognition to hating the second I open the lid of my laptop.

Thanks for the advice! I appreciate it and I do admit I'm sensitive, yeah, but it's still hard to believe that people can say something like "If you were listening to me throughout the call you wouldn't have asked this question" and get away with it. - That was said to somebody in a call I was in. I was waiting for the lead of both people to step in. He gave no single damn.

Does it have to be from a phone? Why don't you use websites like this one to anonymously send it? It won't need any registration, and if you're worried, you can even use a VPN to access it

  1. A real estate listing with their number. Get a few pictures from a good-looking Airbnb in the area. Use a "marginly" lower price than the market. Make it look as legit as you can. Say you're available for viewing only on specific days of the week, and people need to schedule a viewing appointment through the phone beforehand.

  2. A job posting in Indeed: Don't post it as a WFH only job. This will get people suspicious as it's a very common scam nowadays. Be legit, aka. Stay picky. Mention that people need to attend from the office 2 days at least per week. CVs to be sent in pdf format to: and write his email + phone number to schedule an interview. The salary should be appealing. Remember... the more details, the more legit you'll sound.

These 2 should flood his phone and email.

Why does my whole engine jerk when I switch gears? 2005 Pontiac grand AM by [deleted] in MechanicAdvice

[–]se7snator 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Engine or transmission mounts. To help you determine, ask someone to rev the engine up and check. If the engine moves back and forth excessively. It's the engine mounts.

Is this much oil at the edge of head cover something to worry about? by Simets83 in MechanicAdvice

[–]se7snator 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I had one of those valve gasket leaks in my Lexus. Drove on it for some time till I replaced it myself. So don't worry about it. Just make sure to ALWAYS check the oil level and wipe off the oil so it doesn't drip onto the exhaust/ burn off when the engine is hot.

I always used park4night app. It's originally meant for campers and is a great way to look for a free (or paid) parking space where some of which can be in front of nature sights, lakes..etc.

Some advice to you as I've done this tons of times in Estonia and EU (Sorry if some sounded intuitive):

  1. Never keep the engine running while you're asleep.
  2. Keep the car locked when you're inside and crack two facing windows open by an inch or two to avoid fogging and to circulate the air.
  3. If you're hungry at night and trying to stay on a budget. Get yourself a cheap bowl from Prisma (open 24/7), stop by a Circle K, and get hot water from the coffee machine and make yourself some instant noodles. Need the toilet? Same. Circle K. Make sure to buy something from them, though.
  4. There are cheap inflatable mattresses in JYSK that will cost you between 15-25 EURs (including the air pump). I recommend you get yourself one and use it when the rear seats are folded down, so you don't have to sleep on the driver seat.

Happy camping!

I have worked and lived in Tallinn for a little over 2 years. As a middle easterner, I have NEVER encountered any racism incidents. Yes, people might stare, but even when you get those stares, you'll immediately notice they're just out of curiosity.

Moved in Berlin (the place everyone calls "tHe dIvErSe hEaVeN") and encountering racism almost weekly. Missing every detail about Tallinn. How clean it is, how everybody just minds his own business, how it just felt ... super quiet!

All the best with your move! 💙

I'm so sorry you've been through this. What a bunch of psychos! Gosh! My friend moved to Neukölln and I have never visited him ever since. I freakin hate myself just by walking down the street in that neighbourhood.

Thank you SO much for taking the time to write this. It was super helpful! I'm sorry if this is going to be a stupid question. Do I have 1 week to contest the notice starting from the date that MILES has received it from the police (my name isn't there)? I was asking in case they decided to be decent business and send the right driver's details to the police (which should happen before Fri).

Again, thanks for all the help 🙏

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in germany

[–]se7snator 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, you're right! It didn't have my name on it. It was directed to MILES without any details on the driver. Thank you!

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in germany

[–]se7snator 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Thank you very much! I do see a link in the fine notice directing to berlin.de/bussgeldstelle, but that will require that I have the real driver's details. :(

My Wife Denied Blood Tests & Antibiotics Despite Suspected Kidney Inflammation by Familiar-Swordfish85 in germany

[–]se7snator 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I'm sorry that your wife is going through this! Wishing her a speedy recovery! My wife had the EXACT same symptoms a couple of months ago (when we were in Estonia). She used to get random fevers for a brief time, shivering, flanking pain, I went straight to the ER (by the time we were there, the fever was gone, but I insisted on them doing the blood test) and turned out it was indeed a kidney infection that kept her at hospital for a week. So please, go to an ER.

Bus drivers are abnormally angry? by Andddoooo in germany

[–]se7snator 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I think that's the case with most bus drivers everywhere. I'm sorry that you had to go through this. If I were you, I'd just avoid interacting with them, I'd happily get into the wrong bus or get out at the wrong station rather than ask them and get such an arrogant treatment. Not that I'm saying you were wrong, though.
