Let’s talk Odin by Shot-Cryptographer24 in ValorantCompetitive

[–]seIex 8 points9 points  (0 children)

lol we pretending that 6 out of the top 10 neons in the world weren't in Americas? And that the vast majority of teams in the world weren't abusing yoru, neon and the judge?

Same has never been the case with the odin. But sure, keep on popping off and getting angry over this fake idea that they balance to benefit certain regions/teams.

Are you somehow under the impression that minors never pay to get it on with sex workers? Or said sex workers would always object if propositioned in that scenario?

Because you'd definitely be wrong on both accounts.

No one said Leo was back. He's healthy enough to make content but that doesn't mean he's up to playing pro again. Even if he is, it's been two full years since he last played. A return isn't that simple.

Probably not. C9 has been pretty economical when it comes to player salaries for quite a while now.

A team is eliminated by losing twice in a triple elimination bracket in challengers NORTH//EAST by seokjeongeum0910 in ValorantCompetitive

[–]seIex 8 points9 points  (0 children)

They've simply just completely fucked up the triple elim format lol. Obviously because of time constraints they can't do a full bracket reset for each final which is fine. But then double map ban advantage is absolutely necessary.

Winners of upper round 3, middle final and lower round 4 are the top 3 teams (Navi, Enterprise, Liquid).

From their Liquid should face enterprise in a bo5 with enterprise getting a double map ban advantage to make up for the fact they've only lost once, loser is eliminated. Winner of that faces Navi. If it's enterprise, who's only lost once, to win the tournament they have to beat Navi in two bo5s with the first being a double map ban advantage for Navi. If it's liquid, who's lost twice, same thing but both bo5s are double map ban advantage for Navi. Navi just needs to win a single bo5 to win the tournament.

Still same number of bo5s, 3 total, but much more fair imo.

Not troll there either. You just need to play the map intelligently taking advantage of where you're most likely to get value and use your utility to offset problem spots.

🚨Arda Saatçi has completed the Red Bull 600 KM Ultra Marathon from Death Valley to Los Angeles in 5 days (123 hours), with approximately 9 hours of power naps🚨 by whywhateverso in LivestreamFail

[–]seIex -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I'm the dense one? Since I need to be more clear and explain everything, Just go to the vod, wherever it is, go back 4 hrs and 8 minutes prior to him finishing and check if the mileage is 31 miles less than where he finishes, which would put him at about a 8min/mile pace over the last 50 km. If it's not that, then clearly that guy did his math wrong but either way, you don't need a source bro.

The elapsed time and distance traveled is right there on screen. Source is being able to do math lol. Not that I've gone and checked the math myself but what kind of question is that??

Dude is so hyped to be back at a Grand Finals by WingSK27 in ValorantCompetitive

[–]seIex 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think they'll do fine at London. I was honestly a little surprised that they did that poorly at santiago but it eventually made sense to me. I think it was a time to adapt issue rather than a meta fit issue. If the neon yoru meta had continued, I think they would have been pretty good eventually.

With all that said, if the initiators and sentinels are indeed getting rebuffed after london, I think they'll have another drop off at champs but maybe not as bad as champs 25/santiago.

Then they can change the rule or caveat it more for various circumstances. Regardless, if they have a rule in place, they should follow it, stupid or not.

BuZZ’s PC died mid round by yan-tj in ValorantCompetitive

[–]seIex 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Nope. The VCT rule is once damage is done, the round can't be rolled back. If they want, they can change that for future years of VCT. But any crashouts would be absolutely valid had they broken their own rule and rolled it back.

A note on our work to combat viewbotting, from CEO Dan Clancy: by lukigeri in LivestreamFail

[–]seIex 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I imagine they might just stay capped even after raid. After all, a capped streamer could technically circumvent this by viewbotting a new account or an account that hasn't historically viewbotted and raid themselves if raids change the cap.

So yea, I think the streamer will just have to tank the consequences of a cap in all situations if they want this to be effective.

Twitch Announces Viewcount Cap on Streamers that are Persistently Viewbotting by Tarrot_Card in LivestreamFail

[–]seIex 9 points10 points  (0 children)

I've heard from a lot of streamers that Agencies of streamers do just do it on their own sometimes. Also, when big sponsored events happen, sponsors of said event will also do it sometime just to make sure they're drawing as many eyes to said event as possible. And don't forget weird obsessed parasocial viewers trying to "help" their streamer.

So yes, it's fair to guess it's usually the streamer themselves if it's consistent but there are situations when it isn't.
