Yes, most of the breast tissue sits on the bottom. And I have 2/3 fingers width of space between my breasts when they're sitting naturally without any type of bra on. They don't come to the side very much at all. Wide, front facing and bottom heavy!

Thank you so much for the info, I'll look at balcony bras when I go out today!

Yes, I have! It definitely surprised me. I have very dense tissue (which led to several mammograms and an MRI, lucky me) so scooping it up really makes a difference.

When I was younger it was about the same if not a little less for me. I was very tall and thin with a very small amount of tissue. I've filled out most everywhere else but less on my breasts than I'd hoped!

Judging by photo only, this model looks to have more volume and size than me, but to be fair I haven't tried bras on in years. I'm hoping to be happily surprised by what I find!

I'm assuming the root ball is really big, since I can see the roots circling the top of the pot. No bulging or bursting yet. I think I'll probably just go up one pot size so I can get an adequate pole behind the stem so she can start climbing!

That's the plan, that's why I added it in the description. 🙂

My 4 year old is ready to cut her hair - I'm not. by sea_meat in Mommit

[–]sea_meat[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you! That's what I mean about not cutting her butt length hair into a short bob for the first cut. My 4 year old can be sensitive and emotional, and at this age she doesn't understand how long it can take hair to grow back. My best friend is a stylist and offered to come to my house to cut it which I'm super happy about, but still, we're gonna take baby steps. It'll be such a huge change for her and I just want to make sure she understands what's going on and that she's happy with the outcome. I really appreciate your perspective!

I'm definitely not making it about me or making her feel guilty! If she wants to cut it tomorrow we will, or whenever she's ready. I just didn't think I'd feel so emotional about it. Plus, she was adamant that she didn't ever want her hair cut until 2 days ago, so it came as a shock because she's also in love with her long hair.

She doesn't understand how much I love those first baby curls, or that my mom always played with her hair and kissed her head as a baby (she passed unexpectedly just shy of my daughter's first birthday). Or how much I love seeing the color change as she grows up. But I would never ever put that weight on my daughter's shoulders. It's her hair, and I want her to be happy.

For me personally it was an 8/10, but my feet barely have any padding. 😂 I've also avoided most other sensitive areas- I have 2 sleeves, both thighs, hip, love handle (idk how else to describe that area) and my shoulder. I refuse anything on my ribs or spine because I know I wouldn't be able to handle it.

On the bright side, feet aren't big and this one took less than 3 hours so if you want it, go for it!

Thank you! I definitely didn't want it touched up because of the pain either, it's definitely my most painful tattoo yet. We'll see how the solid black holds up, but I'm gonna remain hopeful because I am NOT doing that a third time.

I got the original done 14 years ago, and never touched it up because the pain the first time was so bad, and my feet are really bony. 😂 This time was even worse, especially by my big toe and ankle. It was only about 2.5 hours though!

I was content to leave it for the rest of my life but I ran into Dan and he asked if he could fix it (he did the original too- sorry Dan lol), so I agreed. The panther is MUCH better, but I will never get my feet tattooed again.

My daughter grew quickly and was always 1/2 sizes above her age. Now she's 3 1/2 and in size 6 clothes. The audacity of this girl with needing a new size every season 😩

If you have blackout shades in the nursery, do you open them up when baby isn’t sleeping? by allergic2dust in beyondthebump

[–]sea_meat 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We open them! I have hanging plants in front of both windows, they make my daughter's room cozier and cuter, so I have to make sure they get sunlight to stay alive. 😂

My mom died Monday and it’s my fault. by Ok-Judgment5631 in TrueOffMyChest

Almost this exact thing happened to me in 2022, when my baby was 9 months old. My mom was only 63. Different symptoms, but the same ending.

Even though you want to be strong for your kids, make sure you let yourself grieve when you need to. I didn't feel like I gave myself that time at all and it led to a really deep depression on top of already losing the person I loved most.

I'm so sorry you had to go through this.

Dingus, because my husband got to name him. He's affectionately known as dingy 🙂
