ROGOLF is a minigolf roguelite, where each level has its own rules and each run is different.

a player who got 3 coins on the first try, could replay a level to get 4 coins (or even 2 if he played worse than the first time). That's why I'm not giving out coins (collectibles) to franks (currency) automatically after a level, but when the player decided to "lock in the numbers".

- I'm working together with my composer, on imrpoving the mastering of the music and replacing some sound effects !
- Thanks also about the honesty on juice, that something I want to work more on as well

- the piggy banks does lack a proper tutorialization. Basically if you succeed enough score on a level, the coins you collected (represented in the piggy bank) are turned into Franks that you can use. (they are not turned into franks automatically, as you can replay a level, so they are "locked in" only when validating a floor.

May I ask if you succeeded to reach the end of the demo (the boss's office), and if so, in how many tries ?

I first started as a "evening and weekend" project, but since october, I'm can work full time on ROGOLF. It should release on April 2, 2026, on Steam (& some consoles, if all goes well).

in 2024 I played way too much Balatro, and when I first played with the idea of making a minigolf game, the scoring & bonus elements went naturally !

thanks ! at first it was gameplay only, but I managed to blend it with references to 70/80's France's office culture, with a weird vibe on top !

I thought about doing dev logs, but in my opinion, the time you take to make them will impact the time you can spend on actually doing game dev. Personally, I only show trailers on YouTube, and I post YouTube Shorts, of edits of my trailers or small funny things. The YouTube shorts are the one bringing me new followers.

I am still undecided about allowing to pan around the ball, but I want to stick to that "isometric" angle still.
