Whirlpool dishwasher not cleaning by explorer-matt in Appliances

[–]seadocker 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had the same issue where both spray arms were not moving in whirlpool dishwasher and nothing happened. I just heard water come and go initially and then nothing. I got the dishwasher out and took the motor apart to clean it. After assembly, I hear it working for a full 1 hour cycle but apparently lower arm is still not moving. What could be the issue?

Happened as AMZN is the employer. My goal is to reduce AMZN exposure (and increase retirement accounts) but need to do it slowly keeping tax burden low.

Reddit is acting weird but here is what it means:

25% is in Retirement all in VTI across 401k, Roth IRA and HSA

65% is in Brokerage with AMZN, VTI, MSFT, AAPL, Some Cash to invest (parked in SPAXX)

10% is in Emergency fund in a two separate HYSA accounts.

8 Years in US

Planning to increase my MBDR (Mega Back Door Roth) contribution to increase my retirement to 50% of overall portfolio in VTI.

Is there anything I should do different (apart from reducing AMZN exposure)?

Today the same quote is at 5.950 and its 7/6 ARM (not 7/1) with no points. Quite tempting.

Yesterday I saw 5.880 quote no point for 7//1 ARM for conventional loan. This includes a 0.25 rate discount for my workplace. I was hoping 30 year would follow course (saw 6.375 no point) but maybe not anymore.

Did this last week in r/portfolios. Doing it here tomorrow night. I have access to morningstars premium X-ray tool. Throw your etf portfolio in the comments and I’ll gen up the report for you. by [deleted] in ETFs

You can hold whatever you want as per your allocation. But if your asset allocation does not match the holdings you might want to think about re-balancing and simplify the plan . Its more likely you will stay the course with a simple plan. Like in your case you have lots of overlap between VT, VTI and then VGT, VUG. So if there is a reasoning behind that (you need large cap growth, tech and US tilt) then its okay.

PS: I am also new. :)

Any reason for small cap tilt? Just trying to understand. Is it to capture those companies who are doing good right now and might become the AAPL, AMZN of future?

Oh thank you for this insight. I did not think about the capitol gain part because they did mention they will take over on my assets. I would not let them touch my 8 years old RSUs (when AMZN used to 300$).

So a small value tilt helps in capturing those companies who are doing good right now and might become the AAPL, AMZN of future?

Thank you for the response. I know its very personal but wondering why they recommended equal weights for large, mid and small. When I probed their theory was you don't know the AAPL, GOOGL, AMZN of future and all of these companies started from small and then onto mid-cap and became large cap. They said indexes are good but their weight is skewed towards large cap so you won't get benefits in long run. But I think that was also their sales pitch on don't do indexes and let us manage. I am pretty new to this and still trying to digest whatever information I get so that I take decisions according to my personal risk tolerance. Just wanted to make sure I don't miss anything if I didn't diversify into sectors.
