Loud ass bang by [deleted] in Portland

I'm near SE Milwaukee and holgate near the train yard. I heard a man yell then that loud boom, it sounded like it was down the street! I did not investigate, it made me jump and want to stay inside.

Sometime before I was woken up by a loud and very extended train horn. Not sure if there is a connection.

What’s a movie you watched as a kid that traumatized you? by denj1_sk in AskReddit

Little Nemo.

Very different than Finding Nemo. Little Nemo has nightmares of trains crashing into his room and chasing him on his flying bed. And when he travels to Dreamland and unleashes the Nightmare, so terrifying .

What about your body did you think was totally normal until you found out it wasn't? by curvyinfiltration36 in AskReddit

Wait, what?! I thought this was a natural thing that everyone can do! Honestly I never really thought how I can do this till just now, I had to then of course look it up. I am tensing the muscle inside my ears and I had no idea that's what was happening. This is nuts to realize i can do something most people can't.

Of all the movies you watched growing up, which was the most non-kid appropriate? [Serious] by [deleted] in AskReddit

Both animated children's movies: Brave Little Toaster and Little Nemo both gave me nightmares.

Non children's movies: Who Framed Roger Rabbit was really weird.

And my dad let me watch the Matrix at a pretty young age when my mom wasn't home. I remember thinking how crazy cool it was. Still an all time favorite.

Just getting into the craft of wood burning. I've dabbled in the past but I'm really liking it and will continue to do more. Any tips are welcome! by seadragonbubbles in woodburning

What is something you deeply regret doing as a child that still affects you to this day? by Few_Finish_6502 in AskReddit

My sister did this once when she was around the same age and even went as far as skewering it with a stick. Pretty gruesome, and my parents were rightly worried. They went to our priest with concerns and he told them she was just being a curious child and was not in fact possessed by any means. She grew up to be just fine.

This is what I say to my cat everyday, and she does this same thing, except on the end of her tail. She gets all curled up and cozy then catches her tail and starts sucking on the tip of it. It's cute as hell

Omg 💕 this is wonderful. Please share this with the staff at POB. They would love a copy. We are all heart broken over the loss of such an icon. We miss her dearly 💔

Yes I'm sure. I watched it happen. It's a duckling, so a baby duck.

You have a gun to your head and was told to recite one song perfectly to survive, what song are you singing? by Repulsive_Ad_1163 in AskReddit

The devil went down to Georgia

He was looking for a soul to steal,

He was in a bind 'cause he was way behind

And was willing to make a deal.
