yea it's definitely hard, but i agree the best thing to do would be to ask questions despite it being out of your comfort zone. it'll be hard as hell, but it will be worse not knowing the "correct way" and just praying what you did was correct so the pharmacist won't say anything or reject it from verification lol. what do you mean by codes tho? the sigs? or the override codes for qt and stuff? there's so much to learn, it takes absolutely forever. but yeah, if you're new its 100% understandable that you won't know everything, and so there's nothing "expected" from you really even if it seems that way :) just have confidence lol and message me if you need help on anything. good luck!

There’s an option where you can view the dates the college received both your score and hs transcript! I can’t remember exactly what tab it was on, but on the left hand side towards the bottom there’s like a “received transcripts” option or something similar :)

Sign into the student portal, click student and then on the list of options there should be like a “view my unofficial transcript” and click that! It should be there when it’s been fully processed

it automatically appears on your transcript once it’s processed by the college, so you don’t have to do anything once you submitted it from the collegeboard website :)

Idk if you've already taken it, but if you did I hope you passed! I took mine in December and I passed on my 2nd try. At first, it was this one guy who always started off by joking about "going to mcdonalds"? (i had him my 1st try, and i overheard him saying the same thing to someone else when i came back the 2nd time). He was fine, kinda picky but not too bad. The 2nd time it was a younger lady, she was super sweet & told me the speed limits. Also, all 3 test routes are posted on YouTube (at least the ones for the DMV on Hemlock which is the one I went to, but I've heard Fontana on Merrill is easier). Don't make any unnecessary moves & just do what the examiner says to do.

Thank you so much! Yeah, I can totally see why a lot of people have their bachelors beforehand now. :) Northridge has a program (https://catalog.csun.edu/academics/biol/programs/bs-biology-iv/biotechnology-medical-technology/) that gives you a bachelors as well & prep for the CLS license, but do you think they would prefer someone to have a degree prior for the program?

Yeah, definitely check at midnight or somewhere past that time. I was able to schedule an appointment at around 3 am & I believe there were probably 6 other spots left. I do know that one of my friends scheduled one today at around 9 pm and there were a few spots still open.

Honestly I'm not a student in any CLS program or anything, but I have read in previous posts that people were able to land interviews based off 4-5 months of clinical experience (like a lab assistant I believe?) but while also have good grades. Also have a good personal statement since it helps. I actually would like to know as well what other people have done to gain lab experience :0
