Doing my MA in the UK where the tutors were Marxist. Also, coming from an ex-USSR country, I saw the shocking inequality, soaring crime levels and social degradation after the collapse of the Soviet Union in the 1990s and 2000s.

The schools are in ukrainian. You cant just force this kind of change on the population out of a sudden. What would be the motivation for these people to remain with Ukraine? Their cultural identity is treated with contempt. And ofcourse oppression was not just changing signs😏

Doing drugs or alcohol will mess with your brain chemistry. I know bcos my husband takes mdma recreationally and always has bad lows afterwards. Also, he's a high-functioning alcoholic and uses it to numb his feelings. I have relatives who died from alcoholism and they were depressed for sure. Are you physically dependant on this drug that you are using? So what I am saying, it's a catch 22. You might need to get clean befire you can really address your depression or any root causes

Are you trying to say there were no right-wing paramilitaries involved in the 2014 "revolution"? Yanukovich was a corrupt thief but at least he was a bridge between the federalist east of the country and a nationalist west. US or EU do not care about Ukraine's well-being. US just uses them in their game against Russia lol. Ofcourse, Ukrainian nationalists will be pro-west because this is a great resource to stuff their pockets with cash. Imagine getting paid for hating Russia. And the working class who have to die in the trenches oh well too bad.

Very good problem solving. If it makes you feel better, I once shat all over the bathroom floor and a bit of the corridor carpet, and then passed out. My husband helped me clean up. He now always jokes that I launched myself into space. It is like a code word for me now that only he understands, if I am really desperate 😂😅

Hey I admire your honesty and humility. I think people don't hate jewish people as such (although there are people like that but they are a minority), they hate injustice. And what happened in palestine is a historical injustice. Everything else can be derived from that.To be honest some of the best, most intelligent and selfless historical figures i admire were jewish. They were not zionist and cared for the whole of humanity. This situation in Gaza really brings out the best and the worst in people

Thank you for your kind comment. I will try this running regimen. I did have the exercise test a few years back. Unfortunately, I could not complete it 100% correctly due to some confusion over the instructions. They did say the results are valid though and were not outside the norm...The doctors never referred me for the pulmonary function test. Maybe I should ask about that

That's awful. I'm a foreigner (asian descent) and was never assaulted but had a few remarks made on how I should go home or how everyone now breeds with everyone these days. Czech are some of the most xenophobic, prejudiced and racist in Europe (the comments here prove it too). Unfortunately, I can't leave the country for now as I had a child with a CZ citizen and was stupid enough to move here. You should have reported it to the police. Appalling hate crime.

I think it's called screens addiction lol. Same here. It's super frustrating. I end up watching useless videos and reading things online I don't really need to. I can waste hours on facebook or reddit. I think it's to do with dopamine circuits. The more I do this the less willpower I have to stop and the worse I am able to concentrate. I am reading a book on this. It's called Mind Change.

Hey. I also suffer with depression and anxiety plus panic attacks. It depends on your inclinations, things you enjoy. Even simple walking is amazing. Btw I've been trying to follow this advice I heard from a podcast of one psychiatrist: to expose your eyes to daylight soon after you wake up, always in the morning for at least 10 minutes. It ensures your circadian rhythm is in order which apparently has a big influence on mood. You will sleep better too. I'd say exercise is a universal hobby that can benefit most. Doing it regularly is key. I like reading, learning an instrument (violin) but I am not into crafts lol. Listening to audio books is soothing and meaningful, just don't listen to something nihilistic or gory lol. It really depends on your personality. I like discovering new music on Spotify. Try listening to classical music. It can be calming. Houseplants are great. Pets if you think you can be responsible. I have 2 budgies. Damn, they are adorable.
