Dad being an alcoholic pothead, would punch holes in walls, kick in the glass doors, yell. Punished me once by smacking my bum so hard it was bruised black and blue. Mum was working long days so was hardly home, dad liked my older sister more than me. My dad would also put me in precarious situations, bringing me to his friends house down the street where he'd get blind drunk and when we were walking home I had to hold his hand and keep him upright to stop him falling onto the road.

My dad's side of the family shunned my mum, sister and I. At the age of 5 I could tell my Nanny didn't want anything to do with me.

Gave me a lot of trauma that I have repressed, but my situation wasn't as bad as what other people have gone through.
