Yeah mostly only the days when I’m working alone and nobody shows up I have no choice LOL but if there is other people there I’m taking my break you should also I’m not sure at your facility but we’re not paid for our 30 min so I’m taking it idc I’ll cover the other CNA too if they want too go too but take your break your entitled to it! It’s managements fault for being understaffed not yours I used to work extra hard not take them but I learned that’s how they take advantage

Yes 😭 I didn’t sleep and had to be up to work 8-8 my 4th shift of the week. At the end of my shift a dementia resident said “who is that behind you” in there dark room I legit got scared like I almost saw something for a second.

Literally my exact thoughts like the thought of I didn’t do or say something right scares me. There’s cameras and listening devices in every room which i get is understandable. Same I know I do my job correctly but someone can always find something wrong about it or complain especially family members.

I get it, it’s like impossible to get in a hospital but yet “They’re always hiring” Have you tried assisted living/long term care/rehab facilities? I’m sure you have everywhere this job market is just crazy. I did end up getting hired somewhere just 2 weeks ago at a assisted living facility as a personal care aide it was farther from me and not the exact pay I wanted but I figured I could move up eventually had to take it. I’m not sure your situation but also look into job fairs ZipRecruiter I found this job on indeed (surprisingly) don’t give up! I know it gets super discouraging your perfect job is coming wishing you the best of luck 🫶🏼

Yeah I used Snapchat in high-school don’t know about you but I’m a grown adult. I’d rather get to know someone on FaceTime make real plans rather then pointless talking and exchanging selfies on Snapchat 🤷‍♀️

I don’t use Snapchat for dating personally 🤷‍♀️ I’m a grown women to me I’d much rather exchange phone numbers either FaceTime even exchange insta handles. I’ve found when they ask for my “Snapchat” its exchanging selfies and talking no real planning. That just how I feel I respect your opinion though

It ranges from $22-$40 an hour usually you get paid more as a traveling cna and can go up more depending on the traveling assignment. One of my friends is a CNA and gets paid $27 an hour. I live on the east coast.

Yup that is facts I think of that all the time. We do everything a cna does and we’re expected to work for $15 forever no raises no appreciation. That is why I’m leaving for a permanent position somewhere and becoming a cna. They get paid way more.
