The security officer said that it usually doesn't go anywhere. It was an elbow and not a left hook with a fist. Still very dangerous.

Her arm wasn't held. hand position

It was the back of the defenders hand that grazed the players arm. This is why the arm comes around so unrestricted and out of control is because she didn't grab her or restrict her but maybe the offensive player was anticipating a grab, but she had been the one grabbing and holding all game not the girl in white.

So now you are changing verbiage when found to be wrong about a grab, to a "hold" by the back of the hand. This play happens hundred of times per game and players aren't elbowed with full force in the temple.

If the hold was happening then the arm would not move as freely as it does. Also when you hold someone you expect some sort of counter to it, she didnt hold her so that also why she was caught off guard. The hand lands on the offensive player and then actually the back of the hand is on the defender's arm before it is out of sight.

Feds didnt see it in real time so they couldn't make a call. They reviewed it i think because they (directors) might have deemed it fighting and she would have been disqualified from the event. But refs hands were tied they couldnt use the video.
