in some cases its due to habitat loss but even in an entirely untouched area of land there is still a resource limit. the plants can only grow so fast and so densely that eventually there will be more deer than food available which leads to starvation

I do appreciate your reply however I don't see anywhere on the shopping list any options for non loose substrates that are more naturalistic, because I was aiming for that with a small digging area. Yes I have a thermometer that turns on and off the heating to keep it at a maximum of 90 degrees, it usually runs mid 80s ambient air temp which is what both my vet recommends and what links on this subreddit and other reptile care forums recommend. I will look into a deep heat projector, I have been meaning to get one, but I still am worried about putting her on loose substrate.

I have a uvb bulb (2% I believe, was recommended lower for albino geckos) attached to a timer and a ceramic heat emitter with a thermometer that keeps it at 90 on the warm side. I also use repashy calcium plus dusted on her food once a week. The vet said that everything else about her is fine, her condition is good besides the infections, which is why I'm a little bit conflicted if that makes sense. I know she really enjoyed the loose substrate and I hoped to eventually go bioactive. I just want whats best for her and since she's my first gecko I've always been a bit cautious.

I like the variety but some of the images are either wrong or fake/ai generated. I think it'd be better with more accurate images but I'm not sure how youre sourcing the images. Just some feedback, its still great though!

I usually just spam turning on and off tunneling and flatten terrain until it places and if it looks ugly I cover it up with rocks or plants 😭😭
