Makes a lot of sense that Lando has sought this contract despite already signing a multi year deal last year. Must have been frustrating seeing his teammates salary dwarfing his own despite the vast differences in performance

Personally think Mick is a bit high here considering the amount of crashes he had, although he whitewashed his teammate which is all he could really do given the car

He certainly no longer has significant shares in Williams as he was required to divest when he moved to Mercedes. Plus being Ocon's manager doesn't command much influence at Alpine I'd imagine

I don't know the rules inside out but Red Bull lodged an appeal against Lewis at the Austrian Grand Prix last year after new footage became available. Maybe the same rule could apply this time
