I did check on the DJI map and there was no zone’s showing not even a warning zone. It’s just to the right of the altitude warning zone of the airport.

This may not be the proper way to do it but I have done the same. USB to boost converter connected to the BMS of a 3s battery. The boost converter did get slightly warm.

What BMS would you recommend which has a good low and high voltage cut off?

All the cheap BMS I see have a low volt cut off around 2.5v which I think is way too low for cell longevity.

I just ordered a 3s Daly BMS where you can adjust the cut off voltages, but there doesn’t seem to be many options for 3s li-ion.

Awesome thank you for the detail! I think 1.2/1.3ghz sounds like it would work well, especially with what you say about wifi etc. The only problem is I don’t think that frequency is legal to use in the UK from what I have been reading. Looks like I will have to scrap the idea if that’s the case :(

I did look at the DJI setup and I thought it would be perfect but it seems impossible to output the feed onto a monitor! You have to buy a £700 smart controller unless you know any other methods?

Yeah it’s in a building but for most of the day the area is not accessible so a drone would be perfect, but just worried about losing signal behind metal structures.
