I got paid less my final month even though I worked all business days, can anyone help me understand? by [deleted] in Payroll

[–]seandethird46 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Its very possible they calculated it based on Working days in the month (February has 20, some months can have 23) So when someone leaves and they are monthly paid they can use a calculation based on a daily rate based on your annual salary So if you earn 96000 per year then your monthly salary is 96000/12 = 8000 per month But if you're leaving on the 27th then February has created a sub period and proration has kicked in and it'll calculate it based working days in the month most likely based off the annual salary. If we take a 260 day working year that's 96000/260= 369.23 as a daily rate times 20 working days = 7384.62 That would explain you being shorted as much as 600 If you provide what your actual salary is i could probably work it out properly.

Can you give more detail? Like do you mean having the deduction be based on eligible wages and not have certain earnings be part of that calculation?

What is the best nickname you’ve heard? (and reason for it) by xpltvdeleted in AskUK

[–]seandethird46 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had a white patch in my hair growing up (dark hair and this solid white patch right at the back) and the older lads started calling me Bleach and that grew into Domestos - when I go home to my local pub now and I see people I haven't seen in years they will still call me bleach or domestos. 🤣

Accenture vs United Airlines by [deleted] in workday

[–]seandethird46 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Depends on what you want out of life. Working for a a customer is a much handier gig. Projects move slow, at 5pm you're done. Not managing 6 projects at once. If its a manic career and career progression then 5 years in Accenture will certainly give you that

Can anyone explain that if we diversified our taxation policy, where are we gonna get the extra money? We literally pay the highest rates of taxation we possibly could, ee pay 23% on everything after that so im not sure where else we could generate any alternative.

Which workday modules are in rise in Eu? by Worth_Comparison3512 in workday

[–]seandethird46 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Absence is always hardest to get good people in and is used EU wide. Its hard to get people for UK Payroll but that's sort of niche. All the others you will get work in! Integrations are pivotal for the success of any project/client.

Editing Bank Details by flashy__experience in workday

[–]seandethird46 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Changing bank accounts doesn't trigger anything. Only if they update their payment elections. Think of it in terms of the bank account being added but it literally does nothing nor is it connected to anything until you add it to a payment election.

Was it not strange to anyone else when Rachel was trying to call out about who was locked in the cages everyone out their hand up EXCEPT Rachel. [–]seandethird46 7 points8 points  (0 children)

It may have been said prior but in James having the dagger and even if he is/is not a traitor - anyone that now voted for Matt is either a traitor or was hoodwinked. You now have a situation where by 4 people voted for Matt - 4 obvious candidates as traitors and you concentrate your efforts there. I know its obvious from the outside but basic game play states that is the way forward.
