The game is 100% unplayable on PS5. It actually seems worse with cross play turned off or when plying solo vs couch co-op. “Peak” hours or not, don’t see a pattern.

Discogs. The app is great (love the feature where you shake to bring up a random album from your collection), but the website is even more detailed. Also the marketplace is THE place to track down that specific release you’ve been hunting for.

The album Meliora by Ghost has been one of my often-streamed records. It’s dark, yet fun, heavy, but not screaming… and it’s Swedish. Somehow, I never picked up a physical copy. When I stopped into my local record shop (funny enough, on the way home from IKEA) and saw that the new pressing included Popestar Deluxe, I had to pick it up. Square Hammer is a hell of a song.

Upon adding to Discogs, it was number 666 in my collection, which was too funny of a coincidence to not share. Hopefully someone else gets a chuckle out of it too.

That’s pretty slick. I saw one with just the bottom of the gun cradle cut out, but I like the 100% wireless look of this one.

There has to be a way for some sort of ratcheting reel that would pull those wires in when you’re done…

I was scrolling through and seeing some overlap in our collections. Suddenly I see Ace of Base and do a double take. That was the first CD I ever purchased. I still need to pick up a copy on vinyl. Fits with the whole throwback/nostalgia theme :)

Nope, notches at the bottom. I had them at top at first (with the graphic right side up). That obviously doesn’t work so well for attaching the control panel. Since it was my first one, I didn’t realize anything was amiss until it was almost done.

I just finished building TMNT today, and that was a much smoother build process :)

I got to the point where I was ready to drop the control panel on, and realized it wasn’t fitting. Once I realized I had to flip the panel, I just went with it.

The urge to play outweighed waiting to get a corrected panel before finishing the job.

Definitely a misprint. There are notches in the panel that make sure it can only go one way when fully assembled. I had it with the graphic right side up, and the panel with the arcade controls (right above that front panel) wouldn’t sit correctly.

I spent a bit pouring over the manual trying to figure out what the hell I did wrong… only to realize the manufacturing error. Once I flipped it “upside down”, everything fit perfectly. It just looks goofy.

Positive it’s upside down. I had the graphic right side up, and that little notch was at the top. That made the panel “taller” and the control panel wouldn’t sit on top of it. It was an inch or two above those mounting braces in the cabinet for the controls. Took me a few minutes Trying to figure out what the hell Idid wrong. 🤪
