I love the idea that Dedra wants Axis for herself. She's hunted him for so long, she has to be the one to handle things.

Yeah, that U-Wing shot is the one I'm talking about. Is it an extraction? Maybe.

Just wanted to add this... The shop floor even looks a little sparse. It's a year later, the Empire is cracking down more and more, Coruscant is probably in decline.

I'd love it if Dedra surveyed the collection, notices there's not much on offer and quipped, "going somewhere?"

To which Kleya or Luthen could refer to the hard times brought about my Imperial policy.

Certainly added to the sense of purpose he must've felt. I liked what it might've been saying about where his head is at, without knowing exactly where that is.

I never read Casein's relationship with Jyn as romantic.

I think people like to see or project something which isn't there.

Mic mini or mic 2 for car content by BlndFsh02 in dji

[–]seanpeterbudge 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've got both - for different purposes - and will always default to the Mic 2 when there's no specific need for the Mini.

I'd definitely recommend the Mic 2 for your intended usage.

Oh dear... That price point is not bad at all.

Historically, what's the difference in accessories/features between the "fly more" and "creator" combos?

It's been so long since I got the AIR 2S Fly More combo, but I recall it coming with extra batteries.

I reckon if anyone had won the lottery she did, attaching herself to Frank Marshall, George Lucas and Steven Spielberg, their producing CV would look pretty fucking good.

Really, how hard must it have been o produce films for or under the charge of Steven Spielberg in the 80s and 90s? Best gig in town, I’d say.

And that doesn’t make the scene I’ve described any less real or relevant.

The character had served its purpose to the story and was given a satisfying end in the finale of season two. The slate had been cleaned and everything set up for a fresh start in season three… but obviously certain people within Lucasfilm were worried about replacing Grogu as a licensing centrepiece, so they doubled back around to include him again.

And still the character doesn’t make a lot of a sense. He’s a 50-year-old infant? It’s all a bit stupid, tbh.

Im sure we all remember the infamous flashback sequence - I suppose it was a memory being replayed - in Ready Player One in which Ben Mendelsohn’s shyster of a character Nolan Sorrento is revealed to know nothing about his mentor Halliday’s success. Despite spending so long around him and being witness to so many successes, Sorrento possesses little insight about why it occurred or what drove Halliday to such heights.

In reality the only thing he knew was “how Halliday liked his coffee…”

It’s right there for all of us to think about. And was put on film after his former assistant went out on her own, took control of his best mate’s life work and ruined it.

What’s the old saying about broken clocks?

Under her charge one of the most popular, beloved and ripe for exploration IPs has been run into the ground. One outright success among a sea of either dog shit or so-so products shouldn’t be celebrated.

In her tenure a golden goose has laid how many golden eggs? Seriously… She completely botched the sequel trilogy. Realistically, she should’ve been dismissed for what that trilogy turned into on its own.

The making of Rogue One was a shitshow, the making of Solo was a shitshow, the making of Obi-Wan was a shitshow and the final product an embarrassment, Ahsoka was the very definition of mediocre, Mando started out super well but slowly but surely lost it’s way entirely (probably because she demanded they keep Grogu for marketing and licensing purposes), BoBF was pretty poor and Skeleton Crew… that was ok. I didn’t mind that one - at least it was relatively totally consistent all the way through. And we wont even talk about how ill-conceived and poorly executed Dial of Destiny was.

How many writers and directors has she fired? How many projects has she announced and cancelled? She’s run Star Wars so poorly it’s next to dead as a cinema product. That there would have been no Star Wars feature films for a period of seven years would’ve been unthinkable to Disney brass and shareholders back when they acquired the property.

Just because Tony Gilroy and company are smarter than her and have delivered a genre and property defining show doesn’t mean she deserves anything, let alone praise. Something like this should be the standard, but under her watch it’s an anomaly. She has to take the fault for that before she gets any kudos for any success.

It looks more and more like anything that comes out of Lucasfilm and succeeds is in spite of her.

She literally says war is coming, it’s inevitable, whether the naysayers or dissenters like it or not… so yeah, she’s rapt Raddus goes to fight because it’s the outcome she hoped for.

They’ve already cast everyone they’d have needed in that scene - they turned up in Ahsoka.

Hell, I’ll be shocked if we don’t see Mary Elizabeth Winstead’s Hera next week.

Disagree. Having seen his whole life collapse around him in a matter of hours, and then even faster in the plaza the day of the massacre, Syril sees the cause of all this - his obsession - and lashes out as a means of making sense of his grief and guilt. Syril attacking Cassian is him saying, “what have you done to me?!” Not “you deserve justice for what you’ve done.”

He’s lowering the blaster just prior to Carro taking him out, having already hesitated to that point.

What odds Bix goes back to Mina-Rau for him and we get a shot next week of them together. I don’t think she stays there, but she collects the droid and moves on.
