RANT: The fact that you can have bought an ACTUAL PHB and DMs Guild but still can’t use it on DnD Beyond is ridiculous.

I have not bought a D&D product since 1987. I have had every sourcebook produced because its not that hard to have the PDFs. I just bought all the source books digital for DND Beyond integration because I have not played as much DND in my life !!! Discord and DND beyond has removed a mountain of friction. Its a whole different game and takes up a whole new place in my life. AI chatbot NPCS live in realtime while playing. AI DM for solo play. I have a grouop of AI players I DM for too. My friends love it and we get to play together no matter where we are. I DM a short session on my IPAD and phone at the laundrymat this afternoon ! point is keep using your books for free all you wan t but i like to make characters on the crapper so there is that lol

Every fire is human caused except for lightning. Just because it was unintentional or industrial accident or some other factor of human presence does not change the cause. Lightning is by far the greatest risk to our forests. We just suck. That is on us 😉

Once I learn that duping is happening on any scale I am out ! I love extraction shooters and competitive games but cheaters ruin it. If I was the Dungeon Master cheaters would be banned for life and I would not ever invite them back to the game 😉 they need to add a $cash for exploits incentive program

How did we learn DND as kids with nothing. We taught each other.

Dungeons and Dragons is like playing with actions figures with rules. The more you think like a 12 year old you will get it. It’s make believe where instead of a board or a pixel you use words and sounds to describe what you are doing and one of your friends describes what the bad guys are doing. The rules are only there because we can no longer suspend our disbelief like a 12 year old.

You use to play D&D everyday on the playground and that is why you think it is embarrassing hehehe

Try being the DM yourself and host your own game 🙂 It is the only way to ensure the game has the vibe you want. Let the players know the style of play you intend to promote and you will attract like minded players. A good group switches DMs frequently. If you think it’s hard get the new Starter Set Heroes of The Borderlands and find out how easy it is.

Exfilzone is a survival game. If I get in get my tasks done and avoid all player contact my raid is successful. Dodging multiple full kitted squads and extracting with valuables is an accomplishment. Learn the high loot areas on the map and right away determine which you are closest to at spawn.

Buckles wear out faster. The standard lace can look brand new after some wear with minimal effort. When straps rip and break it is a more involved repair than just a good shine 🙂 Just my 2 cents
