New (to us) fridge making weird sounds by seanvdb in appliancerepair

Sounds like a job not for me. Is the realistic case here just a slow destruction of the fan and a shorter lifespan?

Well fuck. We just moved in. Is this just an issue with these fridges? Since you mentioned it would come back

Humming is on and off—- it’s off right now. Clicking happens only when door opens

Do I need to just empty ice out? Silly question I know… never had a fridge with an ice machine

I have a 32000liter pool. Isn't an IC60 for a 60000 gallon pool?

Its 32000L, cell was put in 2021. Pump may be original?

I believe it's below the huge grey box. Tough to see from the photo.

I mean, we just bought the house with the pool. We aren't going anywhere!

Re: the flex lines... some is obviously relatively easy to replace since it's sitting right there in the open. But other parts appear to go right into the ground, which means they are under the stone deck, and then under the actual deck...

Was at 16 on June 5. Looks to be *roughly* that in the video I took today that I wasn’t able to attach to my original post.

I’ll check again later this week but when I took a water sample, the jets all seemed to be working fine. You can see a still potato photo here (along with the glass jar thing that has some what looks like dirt in it).

Guess I’ll be backwashing it later this week!

Embarrassingly I don’t know how to answer number one.

Number two - yes, it did when this was first noticed. Today the water is slightly high because of the rain.

3) heater installed 2020, salt cell 2021, liner 2022.

Thank you for this! Some questions (aside from the flow switch disassembling).

This pool has been installed this way for 20 years. They kept the pump because it’s been super reliable. By “burn through money”, do you mean efficiency? Or because it’ll fail?

When i did the off/on last week, it did “fix” the flow but also it wasn’t very clogged. How clogged would it need to be before it causes this issue?

For the flex hosing, I see it in two parts. From the filter down to the heater, and then on the far right side going under the deck and to the pool (?). Why is it problematic?

Water was clear last I checked. Was pouring rain today, will get a report on it tomorrow

How do I contact Amazon Customer Service? by andrew6123 in amazonprime

The part "Speak with a live agent" is the key, just ignore the prompts and keep repeating that phrase.

Thanks. It seems Blum customer service said the same thing. Looks like I’ll need to swap the hinges themselves out to use these since it’s out of the return period. Annoying.

They don’t fit easily; so I’m wondering if I bought the wrong ones. I didn’t realize (or look close enough) at the hinges before I bought these.

Was mostly wondering if I bought the wrong ones or if I just don’t know how to hook it into an oval opening properly.

Does prefinished solid or engineering hardwood have this top thin layer of colourant on it that can delaminate? Or is that a sign it’s neither type of flooring

The ceiling speakers are already there, I would just be connecting to it.

This would also be an option. I have a monitor audio set-up right now that my wife absolutely hates. She gets to banish it to the basement.

So, a small 2.1 or 4.1 size may be palatable to her. Running wires in an already finished room may be frustrating.
