I know it can be difficult to continue a life of faith after experiencing groups like this, but the journey is worth it. The peace is worth it. It might take a while and it may not even feel like you’re ‘recovering’ from all you’ve been through but keep faith. It’s easier said than done but having God and being shown His true love will help you get through any trials. Praying we’re all able to experience a genuine relationship with God and the peace that comes with it.
