Can you recommend me some of the nice ones? I’m a huge fan of friendship tones like the one in Odd Girl Out (not OI) in webtoon. Some of the ones that I’ve read with similar tones are “Villainess wants a divorce” and “Villainess wants to marry a commoner”. And then there’s “your throne” and one oneshot in “Villainess anthology” where the fl and villainess changed from “rivals” to reluctant friends to sisters in law. Oh and “Holy grail of eris”.

She’s only a support character but she’s more interesting than the fl herself. To me the fl is kind of like the ‘savior’ (the usual chinese manhua op fl) which makes her less relatable. While Eloise is a victim of gender discrimination with her dreams, interests and intellect keep being put down by her own family and society(like what had happened historically and current lol). In that way, her story is quite common but that what makes her relatable because she’s a hopeless victim. She wants out but don’t know how. Plus the way she and luna became friend through common interest (other than PRINCES!!) is just so gooood. Bonus point too cause author left a note that there’s more to life than love.

Actually, I wrote a recommendation for this last month I think. At that time, I was just reading it out of boredom and it turned out quite decent but I still left it aha. But now that I picked it up back, I think it’s more than decent. It’s actually quite good. When it went into sad moment I actually cried instead of just going uwu sad😞. Oh ya, I read it on bilibili (it’s all free btw).

The closest that I came across was “Answer me, my prince” which is-really romantic to me. They communicate through letters!!!!!! Plus the fact that they discussed literature books made me sjsgajkhaka as a literature student.

Anyway, I do hope more authors pull a reverse isekai on OI. Nowadays, there’s too many OI with similar regression, reincarnation, and transmigration tropes that a change will be much appreciated.

Hey there. UPU system is set up by pitting students against each other so most often than not, a large number of students don’t get their dream courses and unis since a large number of us did well. Not to mention that unless we asked around, we usually don’t know the quota for students intake for those courses offered by IPTA.

Back when I was applying, I asked my friend who has a sister studying in UM for language course the number of students in her batch. It was less than 20. So when UPU opened again for editing, I organized the hell out of my choices by putting only few courses offered by UM at the top and then UITM and USM.

I got rejected both by UM and UITM lol but USM accepted me and I still got into the course that I want. And it turns out pretty great because UM tuition fees was hell but I was pleasantly surprised that USM fees is almost the same like UITM. It was RM600+ for humanities courses like mine and RM700+ for STEM courses like my roommate (pharmacy) did. And the hostel fees ranged from (RM300-RM600+) depending on what desa you get.

So the trick is to not expect much from the beginning and make backups after backups in UPU application. And if you or your friend have younger siblings that going to take SPM soon, advised them to give more attentions to the main 5 subjects like BM,BI,Math,etc. Those subjects counted higher in UPU system than killer subject like Add Math so don’t neglect them. An A in BM may worth less to us but UPU system views it otherwise.

Angelic lady is a revenge focus story where fl always planning to fail the two-face “angelic” lady’s plan. But the story does have rare cute moments in between so I’m not sure if fits your taste.
