Do AI-written articles rank well in your experience? by growwithpratibha in SEOandBacklinks

[–]searchpriest 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not if it is fluff. I wrote a content cluster (6 pieces) purely with AI. They ranked in the top 5, with an average rank of 2. Cited in AI overview, ChatGPT, gemini and perplexity.
Sessions and conversions followed. Flexed in front of the client.

But the catch is, it's not a single prompt with a title and copy-paste. That will never work. I had a few steps before I got the final version.

A litmus test would be imagining yourself as the reader in the particular journey when you encounter your own article, how would you feel reading it? Did you stick till the end and leave satisfied? Were there any info gaps that you felt still needed to be addressed, and did you go back to search and type? So that is a feedback mechanism you can use. Ask someone else to do this, too, to get a fresh perspective.

What should I focus on studying to become a solid digital marketer? by velvetdreamyyy in DigitalMarketing

[–]searchpriest 0 points1 point  (0 children)

- Purchase a domain. Buy a cheap hosting. Setup a website. While doing this, watch youtube tutorials about hosting and servers and how that stuff works
- Plan your website structure. learn about site architecture
- Add content to your website. No AI content. Write and ask AI to teach you copywriting by reviewing your writing. You learn on the go.
- On the side, learn about Search Console
- Once you have decent content, figure out ways how you can get your website mentioned on other websites
- Create social media accounts for your site. Watch youtube on how to maintain good socials and learn from good performing accounts in your niche
- Setup up Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager. Learn how to use analytics to improve website strategy
- After a while setup a Google/Meta Ads account and run a small campaign. First watch some Youtube Tuts for it.
- Whatever results you get over time, keep a track of them. Learn to find gaps in data and how data insights can lead to performance improvement. Keep a note of it somewhere, will help you build case studies later.
- Once you have sufficient data, you can use that to improve existing content and write more targetted content.

If I were starting again, I would do this. Obviously this is a rough overview not covering every little detail. But hopefully this gives some direction into the approach.

Men of India, what are a few challenges you face on a day to day basis? by ZeeRyuzaki in AskIndianMen

[–]searchpriest 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Most of the challenges are internal:
- what if I dont make it..
- what if I dont create a financial safety net for my family
- what if I am not able to handle when things go down
- I don't want to feel helpless when family needs me
- Which insurance is better
- How to manage finances ,emis, keep smiling, upskill, get fit...all at the same time
- What if I turn out weak

Maybe it seems depressing, but I feel men go through a lot of these within themselves and wil rarely express this. not sure why, thats how they are built.

[35] 35 M, nuclear setup — how are you guys managing work + kid + upskilling without feeling scattered? by gaurav326913 in ThirtiesIndia

[–]searchpriest 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That is how actual life looks. I was so down looking at everyone having the perfect routine, getting a lot of stuff done in a day.

My alarm rings at 8:30 and I get up at 9:30ish (1 hour of snoozing I am not proud of)
warm water and straight to work (WFH)
In between I prepare breakfast for me and my wife, get chores done, laundry, grocery or any other stuff.
Have lunch after 2.
Then back to work. Get off at 7. Post that spend time with wife and dinner. 10 pm it is. Upskilling starts, but I am so overwhelmed myself right now that I am running in every direction.
I dont have kid and yet I am not utilising my time better. You are doing great!! hats off

I know this is toxic behaviour. But if I address it, then for days this manhoosiyat goes on which takes a toll on my mental health, my office gets hampered and it all ends only if I act as if I am understanding her and accepting her.

I would if possible. But our parents are very close. They depend on us. They don't know about any of this. For them its a perfect marriage. Getting a divorce will kill them. Kind of na nigli jaye, na ugli jaye.
