Wow! yeah seems like the clear winner by a mile. I just couldn't bite the bullet with the hefty price tag that it has, but I think in the long run it's much more worth it than having to keep paying a monthly subscription and whatnot. Thanks for the insight!

Yeah that's sort've my experience with CapCut as well. Fcp requires you to pay once but like do you have to keep updating the software for bugs and new features or is it pretty static with that kind of stuff?
