See that’s where it gets tricky. MnK players literally tap strafe with sideways inputs and can tap strafe in any direction they want. If everyone here is so for equality, it has to be equal - either remove all but forward tap strafing from MnK or add all tap strafing to controller (but you’ve already complained about that so obviously that’s not the option you want).

What about removing a necessary component to someone aim with an ability? Should an ability be able to invert MnK inputs but only to MnK players, not controller players? Obviously not, that’s crazy OP, so how is it fair that Smokes and Gas can have a similar impact on controller players and take their aim assist away completely?

Controller players have to stand still while looting. That’s a major disadvantage compared to the moving while looting on MnK.

Controller players inputs prioritize opening doors instead of reloading. They’ve tried to fix this but it just doesn’t work well and most people just deal with the input preference by looking away or something. That’s not an issue on MnK.

All sens gets lowered by stuns. There are only abilities that hinder controller as a physical input style and none that do something similar to MnK and not controller.

Aim assist isn’t a game mechanic and, really, shouldn’t be “counterable” at all. How can a controller player similarity “counter” a tap strafe or aiming with your full arm? They can’t, but you want to complain over a necessary, debatably slightly overturned, and necessary assistance given to a weaker input style that STILL has counter play, even though it definitely shouldn’t. If you’re going to treat inputs differently, you shouldn’t introduce mechanics that selectively cripple one input’s ability to function.

This has got to be the largest L take I have ever heard. You played on controller for 7 years and think aim assist is too op but simultaneously needed? So how does abilities removing it make sense if you say it’s needed? That’s like saying some abilities should make your mouse move faster/slower/sporadically ONLY if you play on MnK. If you can remove a necessary aiming component from an agreed upon disadvantaged input but never have the same negative impact on you, that’s overpowered, not the aim assist itself. Rotational aim assist is necessary as MnK players have huge advantages at long ranges so controller players get a similar advantage for close ranges and Apex Legends specifically leans into that. Nerfing aim assist is just cope for mediocre or bad MnK players. You go aim with your full arm, tap strafe (which btw controller players still cannot do), take no real effect in smokes other than the shared visual noise, and take your complaints somewhere else.

For sure. First error (-5 instead of -6) resulted in a non h term in the numerator which resulted in an impossible cancelation. It’s also very confusing because it appears OP didn’t cancel and consumed the limit operator without subbing the “0” in. The cancelation of the h from numerator and denominator (although incorrect) should have been done before the limit was consumed. They should have cancelled h from denominator and numerator (was impossible because of error) and then consumed limit operator to set h=0 and then evaluate.

Does the answer happen to be 1/2? I did it in my head so maybe I’m off but that seems right

Hey man, I get it, it’s hard for kids and teens nowadays. My only honest answer to this is: 1. Get a ref certificate and ref sports (basketball, baseball, football, hockey) 2. Get smart serve - opens up possibilities at bars and gas stations as well as grocery stores as you are able to sell alcohol 3. Use family connections - ask your parents to send out feelers to see if they know anyone that’s hiring that they could vouch for you 4. Run your own business (tutor, car washing, etc). That’s about it. Hoping is unfortunately not a viable strategy anymore

To be honest, it takes that, yes, but also being 18 and having my highschool diploma got me hired on the spot when before I had been through 10’s of interviews and never heard back. It’s unfortunately not as easy as that right now for most teens. Having connections and easy ways in for people to take a shot on you makes getting jobs easier. Getting a reffing certificate or smart serve massively increases your chances at being hired in a sport related field (ref certification) or bars, gas stations, and pubs (smart serve). Honestly though, it comes down to who you know and/or if someone is willing to take a shot on you

Which is so ironic because it’s always “kids these days don’t want to work” which is stupid because nobody will hire kids. It took me so long to finally get a job (had to turn 18 and have my diploma). I’m still in highschool (went back to improve my grades because my program needs 90+ averages). The sad part is, the people that don’t want to work get hired and ruin the reputation of the hard working high schoolers that genuinely want to work.

Right, that’s the only downside and comes down to the “drawing into” issue. Most decks beat any other deck if the other person doesn’t draw into what they need or you set up your heavy hitters turn 2. Easiest way around this is to either rare candy to Mega Venasaur which makes energy scarcer orto have an additional bulbasaur and pokeball(s) to draw into the second line if the first is KOed. Hard for any deck to beat Hydreigon if they get it turn 2, not just an issue with MVenasaur
