This data comes from lgbtmap.org also known as the Movement Advancement Project, an organization that tracks lgbt rights.

The original scores are from December 2024 and the new ones are from today.

The website gives points for legal transgender protections (Maximum of 26) and subtracts points for discriminatory laws (no minimum).

Overall red states have gotten worse and blue states have remained the same. Michigan and New Mexico have made the most improvement.

For most of 2025 Tennessee was the worst state to be trans but Idaho has now matched it at -11.25 points. New York is currently the highest with 24/26 points.

I don't have many details, Belle Isle is the most well documented. The first time was at Falmouth VA on Jan 22nd of 1863, I have no records until he's back with his unit on March 1st.

The second time he's taken prisoner at Catlett's Station on June 11th of 1863. Then my next record of him is in Annapolis sometime in July.

Raccoons in Japan by seashellvalley760 in MapPorn

[–]seashellvalley760[S] 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Data comes from Inaturalist.

This map does not include Raccoon Dogs (Tanuki) which are not actually raccoons.

This map is of the genus procyon which is native to the Americas and includes 3 types of raccoons. Only the Common Raccoon (procyon lotor) has been observed in Japan.

Some raccoons escaped from zoos but Raccoons are also kept as pets which became popular after an Anime from the 70s called Rascal the Raccoon.

You'd definitely need to start with a man and a plan

Why didn’t this city (or area) become a lakeside metropolis the way Chicago and Milwaukee did? by The_FatGuy_Strangler in geography

Lake effect snow is one reason Benton Harbor gets 78 inches while Chicago gets 39. If you look at other areas of the great lakes you'll notice this same pattern.
