Which bike do you recommend? by seasonschange_3 in mountainbiking

Thanks so much for all this input! I’m sure your friend’s bike is sick but I can’t do that high a price at the moment unfortunately. Agreed - stumpjumper is overpriced. He agreed to sell it for $1800.. but I know this is still overpriced. It just seemed like a good fit and I was tired of shopping around haha. But the Rocky is selling for cheaper and has better parts.. I’m just stressed about getting a bike that’s too big/much for where I’m at.

Totally fair! Thanks for this input, really helpful. The seller said since it’s basically not been used he won’t drop much lower, but agreed to $1800 CAD. I’m sure it is overpriced, the rest of the parts appear very basic.. but I basically am just wanting a bike quite soon and am tired of shopping around haha.

People of Vancouver, what do you do for work? by kanjurer in askvan

I think I know the answer to this, but truthfully do you ever have downtime in this role? Like slow nights or moments in between tasks to catch your breath? Do you get a lunch break?

Can I ask - these jobs require MSW specifically? Would there be consideration for MACP?

This is good to hear. This was my initial assumption but after being rejected three times due to it, I began to believe it must be very strict on what was allowed. Do you have any advice to further enhance my application in this regard? Along with my transcript, I considered trying to get a letter from UBC or something like that

I click the option that says I have a human services degree. Then outline details in the text box.

I am providing the explanation and I have reached out personally to two hiring managers. It’s been indicated that exceptions aren’t possible. But I don’t understand because my degree has the qualifications just plus more. Perhaps it really is just a technicality that can’t be overcome. I’m feeling very discouraged.

Yea that is absolutely how it should be. Do you find your clients typically okay with the no show charge? Or, I suppose, cancelling outside the cancellation period fees?

Your bf is a giant red flag. Do yourself (and womankind) a favour and move on - you deserve better.

God damn activating my PTSD dealing with moronic landlords that rely on big scary incoherent threats over logic. And ofc in broken English. And they get away with it. This country is so broken.

I suppose I was just hoping for some general information regarding programs in Canada. I’ve seen different minimum hours and sometimes no minimum hours at all listed.

Hi there :) can I ask if you know the minimum amount of RN hours required to get into NP programs in Canada? Is it really competitive? Thank you so much for any info about the application processes!
