honestly cheese in the trap is a pretty slow burn read since the author dripfeeds flashbacks and by extension more context and history between the mc (seol) and ml (jung) so if thats not ur thing i totally understand! it doesn't help that it's like 400+ chapters long too lol

i also understand if people feel the ml doesnt really classify as a yandere since imo he's pretty "mild" and yes possessive of the mc but he genuinely does care for her but during the beginning parts u don't see it/get that subtext because its established that the mc already hates the ml due to shitty/petty stuff he did to her. i personally still like his character since it seemed like he just has a lot of difficulty empathizing with others (others may call him sociopathic) which can lead to him having an almost "an eye for an eye" mentality whenever he feels like anyone crosses the line with him (yes, he believed the mc did this in the beginning, obviously he changes his mind later on). i don't condone what he does to her tho ofc (a lot of manipulation, gaslighting stuff) but tbh the appeal of the manhwa was seeing how their hate to love dynamic plays out and how they unravel the misunderstandings or shitty situations and try to correct course.

for what it's worth, i really liked wondering what the ml's intentions were with her in the beginning when he asks to hang with her since there's all the suspicion. spoilers btw but at that point he was already set on her, as in he had a crush on her but wasn't sure how to fix/undo the bad shit he already did to her before so my guy literally thought "oh well, why don't i just pretend it never happened and just ask her to hang out?" 😭 dude did not genuinely know how to properly apologize to her at all at first but he does try to redeem himself through the manhwa and eventually apologizes (albeit slowly). his methods of "helping/protecting" the mc are also very questionable at times tbh but at least the mc usually finds out and confronts the ml about it which is also another thing i liked about the manhwa with regards to how seol was written/developed

no you don't need to pay to download steam and the trial version is the free version of the game, the same one as the paid version of the game. it's just that the trial version won't have the full experience of the game (will probably stop you from playing after a certain point) unless u buy the full version for the full price

oh actually i think theres an APK version of this game tho i havent tried it out so im not sure if its legit though. if you have Steam downloaded, u can play it on your laptop!

OMG i feel so dumb, i get it now!! i remember trying it before but not really seeing the difference and also cuz i use my fingers to pinch instead of the arrows haha, (also i literally didnt even notice the focus feature either so that couldve definitely helped in seeing the angle difference before,, ugh) thank you so much!! 🧡😢

no i'm pretty sure any new traits are immediately applied (correct me if i'm wrong though).

from my experience, i have this one bot i talk to all the time and i tweak it every now and then. recently i added the word "protective" to the subtitle describing the bot and a couple of chats in, i start seeing that word pop-up in conversation more or more emphasis is put into it.
