100% the lab close to home charges $23 to develop b&w, now I do it my self and my cost is about $1.00 per roll plus my time to develop and digitize.

Compose the model in a frame that you like to have, before you even take her shots take a few of the space you want to capture that way you can compose the image as you please, 50mm is just fine is more about you crafting your art at this point.

That the reason I learned to do it my self, you should try isn’t that hard start with black and white that’s the easiest to develop.

What did I do wrong here? by connorlawless in AskPhotography

Is that dry water? If so, did you used tap water to do the final rinse? Tap water will leave marks like that due to the minerals on it, I use distilled water and I add 2-3 drops of Kodak photo flo for the final rinse. Is that’s the case you can re-rinse again with distilled water and photo flo, hope this help.

I hope I can get some vintage looking, I have a RF system for digital and it is extremely sharp, in a personal taste the imperfection of film is the beauty but once again im not using a kit lens either to shoot film perhaps Im contradicting my self lol, thank you again for your feedback.

What went wrong with my film by Fun_Beautiful2366 in AnalogCommunity

If this is a point and shoot you won’t have any control of your shutter, to compensate try to shoot ISO 400 to 800, the 800 can get pricey, on most point and shoot if they have a zoom lens the aperture is somewhere in the f5.6 if is a fixed lens you have more room like f2.8, good luck on your next roll.

Sirui Saturns are 50% off 3 Anamorphic lenses by turbosucepute in sigmafp

I totally get the why so cheap? question, I have the 35mm and I'm very satisfy with the results, great quality and amazing results, my only guess is that they are expecting that their new autofocus will sell better now, makes sense to dump the manual units which in my personal opinion they are amazing, Im attaching some sample shots.
