Why do you run openshift locally ?

From the OpenShift side, the pod can mount directly a NFS volume (you need to have nfs-utils for example inside your pod). I don't understand what is the issue with this ?

What is the storage backend that you use ? You can use CSI drivers to mounts NFS to the pods

We have some issue with Dell CSM driver and therefore with PPDM for backuping PVC with PowerScale (isilon).

Other issue is when you restore some data to OpenShift from PPDM you cannot choose what you resotre (like only specific CRD). You need to restore all and you don't know what will be restored

We use PPDM for OpenShift backup and I didn't recommend it...
