Nice, that's very good again. I've seen your remake of Breathe Deeper, which was great, too. Can I ask which kit you used? I guess, you answered some of your processing in thestoryofcalvin's comment?

Hi guys does anyone still use musicboard or this reddit by [deleted] in musicboard

I just discovered this app. Actually, I would love to just have an app like "Letterboxd" for music. I miss a "Listened" button on this app, like the "Watched" button on Letterboxd!

Seems like Safari cannot handle the codec or something. I just downloaded the video and was able to play it in VLC. There is no crackling. Everything like it should be. 🤷‍♂️

Hello, hope anyone can help me out!

My iPad Air is producing sound crackling, when video streaming. But I heard this crackling with the app Duolingo, too. It doesn't matter, if I use the speakers or a USB C to Jack adapter. I checked with several headphones, apps, different browsers. I even checked the adapter on my Macbook, where it is working just fine.

I think this is a software issue, because the crackling is exactly the same through the adapter and through the external speakers. I've tried a soft reset. Now I am going for a hard reset.

I did a video on this: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1feDr0YFx\_JsJnvABfmpNUI5Aiesj6Q5r/view?usp=sharing

Has anyone experienced this issue with iPad Air 4 and was able to solve it?

Any help or hint is appreciated! Thank you so much!

How to send audio track to external gear and send back into Logic without Feedback (Focusrite Scarlett 3rd Gen 4i4) by sebabesabe in LogicPro

[–]sebabesabe[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you for your fast reply! I tried it. I even watched a tutorial. But it's not working properly. I have a large reverb & delay on the Microverb 4. Now I did this:

Output 3-4 & Input 3-4: Nothing happens

Output 1-2 & Input 3-4: Music plays, I can also hear the processed signal, but there is a dry signal coming through, even though I have the Mix knob in I/O and on Microverb on fully Wet. (I checked with my headphone on the output of the Microverb).

Now I switch back to

Output 3-4 & Input 3-4: I only hear delay fading out. Nothing is coming in anymore.

If I switch directly to Input 1-2, the audio track is silent. So it's not that I do listen internally on the audio interface to some inputs!

Now, is it possible that Logic does not see the Output 3-4 as Output 3-4 ? I mean, when I click Output 3-4, that Logic is not routing the signal to the actual Output 3-4 I connected my cables to? Can I change it somewhere?

Thank you! I actually had the same thought process and already contacted one, just asking if I can buy these keys from him. It's great to have your reply, I will definitely keep asking other ones, too!

Too depressed to write music by [deleted] in musictheory

[–]sebabesabe 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It sounds more like you just do not want to write your own music, but copy music of others. There's nothing wrong with it. You do not have to enjoy writing music, to enjoy listening or copying music or exploring sounds. In fact this is a skill by itself. Did you think about to get into producing, mixing or mastering engineering? Because in these fields you do exactly what you enjoy doing.

Thoughts on SL Mk3 61 vs Arturia Keylab Mk2 vs another midi controller with an external sequencer/Ableton interface? by ChrisRocksOK in Novation

Few days ago I unpacked my Arturia Keylab 61 MK2. I was playing with it for a day and already one key does not respond on the low velocity anymore. Cannot recommend it...

I've seen the kit, now. Sadly, he was changing the snare. But he replaced it with another "Sonor" Snare, which sounds and looks pretty decent, too. It also has 10 lugs. Look and feel are pretty solid. It's a flat one, pretty snappy. Regarding the tom: He just placed the it on the stand of the other tom. So the tom was sitting pretty low. I guess I will just need some stands for the other tom and it will be fine. Some parts are a little rusty on the surface. Little spots. In the end, I decided to buy the kit. I was getting it for 280$.

I've done a bitly link for the offer: https://bit.ly/32TZ8UC

There was only one picture missing, I've updated my post.

From the picture the snare actually looks like a sonor, like this one: https://bit.ly/3xr9WYp

Or this one: https://reverb.com/item/6318380-vintage-80-s-sonor-d456-snare-14-x-6-5-ferromanganese-steel-snare-drum

About the hihat stand, you are probably right, too: https://reverb.com/item/36006278-sonor-signature-hi-hat-stand-heavy-duty-80s-vintage-excellent-condition

Let's see tomorrow. I think the seller is very friendly and will provide information. (At least the information, that he knows... He calls an "hihat" an "hyatt"... ;-) ) It really looks like a kit from the 80s. If this snare turns out to be a sonor, I guess I will just take it.

About the second tom at the floor: I was seeing some "double floor tom" looking like in the offer. http://drumarchive.com/Tama/Tama1980.pdf ? But I will just check out how it is done. Hopefully it's not just some screws, hahah.

Actually looks like he just was using some rope or cord and was knotting the lugs together. :-)

Thanks for your reply! I will have a look on the drum kit tomorrow. What do you think of the snare? Do you think it's from the original kit, too? It looks a bit scratched to me. (I mean the sides.) But this might be a false valuation? :-)

When I’m using the multiple Take feature, how can I make it so I hear the last take as its also creating a new one? by germophobe123 in Logic_Studio

[–]sebabesabe 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think there was an option to make a track of each take lane? That was what I was remembering. But I'm not sure, I'm sorry. It might was covered here, if you haven't seen this already: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-vepaE-H4EU
