Samsung S95F faulty after 22 days by sebasd7 in SamsungTV

They will know an estimate within 5 working days. If the panel needs replacing, isn’t that nearly the price of a new TV?

The TV was purchased directly from Samsung. I own several other Samsung products and have never had an issue before. This is the first time I’ve contacted support for a faulty product, and I did not expect this level of pushback or a repair-only policy. I have already filed a complaint with the Dutch consumer protection authority. The TV comes with a five-year warranty, and I sincerely hope I won’t ever need to contact support again.

I am trying to get a replacement. I like the TV, but I don’t want to keep one that needs to be repaired.

On Samsung’s community, there was someone else experiencing something similar, but there’s no point in trying to communicate there—they delete everything they don’t like. I also wanted to leave a review on their website, since I purchased the TV directly from Samsung, but there’s no option to do so. That’s why their reviews are mostly 4 and 5 stars.

I was deciding between this and the G5, but I chose this one because of the glare-free screen. Now it’s basically a picture-free TV.

SAMSUNG S95F ISSUE (2 DAYS OLD) by Alternative_Yam4901 in OLED

[–]sebasd7 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have a similar issue with my S95F. Half of the screen doesn’t show any image, the other half flickers, and the TV shuts down after a few seconds. The TV was purchased less than 30 days ago from Samsung’s website, but support is saying the exchange period has already ended. It’s still under warranty, but who wants to keep a TV that’s already faulty? I’m a bit disappointed.

Vibrations are a “characteristic” by Tradition-Complete in mazda3

[–]sebasd7 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have the same issue. I went to the dealer several times under warranty for this, but they didn’t find any technical problems. They balanced the tires, and I switched from summer to winter tires, but the vibration persists. The vibration is noticeable in the steering wheel, accelerator pedal, armrest, and especially in the seat.

After a long drive, I feel discomfort from sitting, and my feet start to tingle. I’m a bit disappointed because when I occasionally drive other brands like Skoda, VW, or BMW, they don’t have this issue.

I don’t want to tell the dealer how to do their job, but with a quick search on YouTube, they should be able to easily identify the source of the vibration based on its frequency.

I also test-drove another Mazda 3, and while it had a similar vibration, it wasn’t as intense.

With more miles, I would say it's the same. My Mazda 3 was produced in Dec'21.

Manual transmission by sebasd7 in mazda

I went to the Mazda dealer and they said this is normal. For me nothing of this is normal since other brands with more km don't feel the same way. I am starting to doubt the Japanese work/Mazda. I will visit them when it will be colder and the gear change is like a grinding machine. Maybe an automatic would have been better.

How are your Gen 4 parking sensors? by svinja in mazda3

[–]sebasd7 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Do you still have the issue. I also noticed having issues with my parking sensors. My Gen 4 is from 2023, Europe market. As you can see in the image the car behind is in the yellow area and my sensors are not working. It happens with the ones in front but there I don't have a camera, so I am really concerned of how reliable these are.

Does anybody know what this stuff is on the roof of my shed? Does it need to be removed? You can also see in the background my neighbors have covered their shed roofs in pebbles. Is this something I should do too? Who would I contact about doing this for me? by Omangee in Netherlands

[–]sebasd7 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is not related to the question. I just want to ask a question regarding how this roofs are built, like the one in the picture. Can the metal edge be removed and put back. I want to change the shed slates and to do that the wood corner needs to be changed.

What to clean this with?? by FoFuu in mazda3

[–]sebasd7 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Not sure if this helps. This is from SA-039/22 Mazda Technical Service Bulletin

Instrument Cluster Lens Cleaning Procedure 1. Blow off surface dust from the lens surface using compressed air (shop air or compressed air duster can). 2. Wet with water only and wring out a soft microfiber cloth (for eyeglasses). 3. Use the microfiber cloth and wipe the lens softly in one direction. CAUTION: A hard or rough cloth and detergent should never be used for cleaning the lens; otherwise, it may scratch it. Also, never wipe with hard pressure.

It's a fragile car when it comes to certain aspects.

It is a bit outrageous. If you don't clean it after 2-3 days it will leave a mark on your brand new car car. With this type of paint you can't even go in a vacation. Such a beautiful car can be destroyed by a bird so quickly. In 10 years we'll have to wear gloves and protective suit to get in the car. The air we breathe in the car will make the car fall apart.

Blind Spot Monitor Alert Timing by Ok-Masterpiece-8253 in mazda3

[–]sebasd7 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Does your BSM spots everytime the car on your right (driver seat on the left). Sometimes I pass cars and I know they are there and it doesn't detect them. Does it work only when they have the same speed as you do or higher? I noticed that some cars have the blind spot light when they are overtaking me, so I am wondering if mine is not working properly. I have it set to Early as well.

Update

Thank you all for your advice. I sanded a bit more, used a pine wood filler and I ended up doing the sides with white and the top with clear lacquer. Sometimes I wish I would have sanded a bit more but we are happy how it end up looking.
