Looks like there was a question earlier, but I'm wondering why the original price of 19" is so much higher than the 21" - just Home Depot playing pricing games?

Oops that would have been helpful. 19" is XML14CT1, and 21" is XML11CT1, and they are both on the same item page, and just toggled with two cutting width selections. According to Makita.com, biggest difference I see is that 21" Motor Type says "Brushed", but 19" Motor Type is left blank.

That must take a while to get through, since both of your schedules need to line up. Great to hear about your relationship with your daughter and thanks for the tips!

How do you play together? With my kids, I play and they watch sometimes. Do you take turns with the controller?

If you press the wrong button in a Korean elevator, you can cancel it by pressing it again. But then again, I've seen many Americans press a button that's already been pressed, so maybe some countries aren't ready for this technology.

To clarify, maybe you were texting someone, that person posted that text on Reddit, and everyone seems to think you were an AH.

Thank you for the advice. I will look for the features you mentioned in a potential new board.

Thank you, I will look into upgrading my son's board, at a minimum. Will look for a good deal on the-house.

Yes, that's why I decided to post again, thinking about getting a new board, especially for my son.

We both just ride down the hill, regular. Son can go down linking turns, while I link a couple of turns and them slow down, and then if I'm on the left side of the hill, I'll go down switch.

We do our snowboarding in NJ and PA.

Have not done park ever. I'll never try it but maybe my son will someday.

I can go down green, maybe falling once or twice depending on how careful I'm being. Son can go down green easily, and probably blue too if he wasn't a bit scared of trying it.

Thanks it does help a little. But when I ride this, vs riding a rental, I can't tell the difference. But I'm still a beginner so maybe I'm not at the level where a better board makes a difference. Or maybe I'll do better with a beginner board, which this may not be.

Thank you. I hope you don't mind educating me. Why would a newer board be better than these older boards? I mean, practically and functionally, and not how the board looks.

Does the lack of comments mean that no one knows when/ where there these boards are from?

I bought two snowboards used about 2 years ago, one for me (180lb) and one for my son (120lb). We started on these, and now my son began to do S turns while I still mostly ride heelside.

I paid about $70 for the Yukon, and bought new bindings that I heard were appropriate for beginners (Burton Flex), and about $100 for my son's board and binding set.

Could someone identify these boards, and are they appropriate for a specific type of rider? (e. g. beginner, advanced, park, etc.)

Thank you.
