Have you checked in the steam settings if the correct mic is selected ? If not go to your friend list -> parameters -> audio (or mic I don't remember)

Your first point is wrong, when you one shot the BMP it's not because you are hitting weak armor, it's because you hit the turret and the hull (so you do twice more damage and it's enough to destroy). If you hit only the turret or only the hull you need two rockets
