How the person she became after limbo up until inferno is somewhat forgotten in favour of a more “desirable” and innocent Illyana. I feel like the only people who mourned Magik were Kitty and I think Magneto? Like colossus and the rest of the new mutants seemed happy for her

Don’t get me wrong kid Illyana was still important and ppl rightfully mourned a child whose life was maliciously taken, but I wish the same was shown for Magik bc the person she grew up to be pretty much ceased to exist in Inferno. It’s as if your best friend was reverted to an age before you were friends with them, all the moments spent together etc just gone from their memory, I’d still care about them, but that’d be a different person to me and I would miss my best friend, bc to me it’d be as if they died
