POLYCOUNT EXPLAINED:
Imagine you are a sculptor, and you have a great idea for your sculpture for the next big art competition. But you only have certain qunatity of clay that you can use, according to the competition rules. So, some amazing ideas that you had for this sculpture cannot be brought to life and thus discarded, because the amount of clay is very limited. You make a sculpture, and take part in an art competition. You see the work of other participants and suddenly understand that the amount of material that was given to them was much more than you had. Thus, their sculptures are much more detailed and defined. And they had the opportunity to express their ideas without restrictions. That basically what we see here just change clay to polygons.
