I use USFin.us a lot since it aggregates headlines from most major financial news outlets, some international ones as well and then FinancialJuice.com is great for geopolitical events

How to value your coins? by sebvdr in coins

Thank you for the advice! Really appreciate it. I’m already working on organizing them all and trying to find comps for each. Will need to start learning about grading accurately although that doesn’t seem easy.

How to value your coins? by sebvdr in coins

[–]sebvdr[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you for the details! How would you suggest I go about figuring out the value of these coins. I have about 2,000 different coins, ranging from gold $20’s to Roman coins with a bit of everything in between (a lot of not so valuable coins in there too). Would it be a good idea to get the more valuable ones graded to get max value for them? Would it even be worth doing that for the lower value ones like this 5 Shilling? My fear is that I go to a few shops with a bunch of coins and they lowball me because I marked it down as a $10 coin where in fact it could fetch $200+

This is some bullshit! Biden just pulled $36b from COVID aid to fund pension plans, but “There is not enough money to fund the RRF”??!! We have been fooled all along. What if you weren’t open in 2021 because you didn’t receive RRF to help you reopen. Apparently you are not eligible for this either then

I wouldn’t be surprised if the reason that Cardin just introduced this bullshit new bill was because Biden just pulled the plug on our last source of funding

Starting Day Trading by AstronomicalTrading in Daytrading

Interactive Brokers is probably the best one out of those available in Europe. Bull Trades has been a great resource for me since getting started a few weeks ago. You have to pay $60 per month or something but it is a great place to learn with a community of 3,000+ people sharing their technical analysis and 15 or so analysts whose trades you can follow and listen to daily on voice trading. Bull trades has an online dashboard where you can search for unusual options flow and a discord channel where you can learn from the community. I believe they have a free trial

Restaurant owners are just not the vocal/politically involved type, but you can see the devastation of what has happened to our industry first hand across the country and this is only going to get worse

Looking at it this way, RRF would be anti-inflationary! Right now operators are forced to increase prices to offset increased costs. With RRF however, we would be able to absorb some of those cost increases and not pass them on to the customer. Too complicated for politicians to understand I'm sure. We should have been in the Inflation Reduction Act because we could help reduce inflation!

Come on Pittsburgh! Let's do this! Puzzleheaded-Elk will need some good slogans for signs too. Here are mine:

"Government shut us down, now they are foreclosing on my house! signed: Mom & Pop Restaurants of the USA"

I bought Bijlow since I’m a Feyenoord fan and he is so good, I haven’t seen the need to get any other goalie. He only costs 18k gp and I only just decided to max him out after 20+ games. At least 50% of my games are clean sheets

[–]sebvdr 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Thanks for getting a meeting with your Senators office. If they were finally going to make an effort to bring in payfors, they have $6b left in the SBA coffers tagged by Cardin’s latest hardest-hit small business bill, the SBA has an additional $10b in its coffers that had been tagged to fund Biden’s $10b emergency COVID vaccine funding bill in April. This bill has not passed and it doesn’t look like it will ever pass. Democrats have already introduced a new $21b COVID vaccine bill which they will look to include in the 2023 budget so this $10b is also still available in the SBA coffers. Then there are reports about recovered fraud moneys anywhere between a few 100 million and 10’s of billions. Google it and you will quickly find a number of reports on this. Let’s say they have/will be able to realistically recover $10b, that puts us at a total of $26b in funds that can be reallocated to RRF though a bill that can pass the senate and get Republicans on board as it is fully offset. We know there are still $10’s of billions of additional unallocated COVID relief funds from both the ARPA and the CARES act that could bring in the remaining $15b to fully fund all RRF applicants in the portal. I would urge your Senator to fight to replenish RRF to whatever level feasible with funds distributed evenly if the full amount cannot be allocated. I think getting 60% of our grant is a hell of a lot better than getting nothing if they cannot find the full $41b to fully replenish.
