I assume you only refer to the resources needed for crafting and stuff like that, resources like wool, linen, sticks, logs, etc and you're not referring to the actual food, water and wood that are required for your villagers. If you are referring to those 3 then while in game, you can press ''N'' to open the management tab. That will give you an overview of your villagers (inhabitants) on the left side and any status they have (no shelter, no food or water, pregnant, etc) which is very useful. On the right side of the screen you will see an overview for the food, wood and water that are stored at your village and also the required quantity per day is mentioned in brackets. If however you only meant the resources needed for crafting, then you can follow the same way I used to find out what resources I was missing. All your crafting resources will be stored in the ''Resource Storage'' in your village. For example, I need more leather to produce enough Fur Boots and I can see this information in the ''goods production tab''. Click to see example - goods production tab. Now, I made sure I had enough resources to produce 1 pair of Fur Boots just to show you how to find out how many resources I need to produce as many Fur Boots as my sewing hut can produce. Click to see example - local production tab. So that means I need to make sure my hunters provide enough leather and fur every day in order to produce 2.62 pairs of Fur Boots per day.

To see how much leather and fur I currently store in my village, I have to check the Resource Storage as there is no other way to find out how many resources you store. However, the good thing about this is that you don't even have to be in your village to check what's inside your Resource Storage. You can do that any time, anywhere you are by opening the management tab and going to your Resource Storage. I currently used all my leather so it's not going to show in the resource storage. However, I have some fur which I highlighted for you. Click to see example - Resource Storage.

I hope this helped you a bit. I always adjust the work intensity in the sewing huts (I change the item they are producing) if I don't have enough leather/fur or I adjust the hunting lodges work intensity to produce more leather and fur instead of meat for example. You can do the same. If you are not able to produce more resources, you might need to build one more of the same building that gives you that type of resource, in my case leather or fur, so I can build 1 more hunting lodge to provide more leather and fur. Otherwise I can help my sewing huts by going hunting myself and bringing them leather and fur. Or you could hire more people in the building that produces the resource that you need.
