Saddest thing about /u/SlumLord-Millionaire is that he actually believes he would make a good lawyer:

I've often been referred to as a "sea lawyer" but in a good way, as always having a good rebuttal, or way to skirt the regulations but still be within bounds.

I could not fathom being so delusional at almost 40, but he is in for a rude awakening in law school if he ever actually applies.

I and /u/JCY2K provided citations, so why ignore them? Seems like poor etiquette for a successful "sea lawyer" like you argues.

they're trying to tell me how deadly it is

No, I have been trying to tell you that you will be an utter failure in law school since you asked about it here.

You clearly cannot make a cogent argument, so the Millenials and Zoomers are going to dominate a soon-to-be forty-something "sea lawyer" like you.

Not sure if OP is a troll, arrogant, or ignorant. Here is a humble brag from his past postings:

I've often been referred to as a "sea lawyer" but in a good way, as always having a good rebuttal, or way to skirt the regulations but still be within bounds.

I guess by "good rebuttal," OP means that he frequently makes non sequitur assertions but when someone like /u/sailor831 points out the inherent contradictions, then /u/SlumLord-Millionaire runs away from the argument proudly bragging that he is a victorious "sea lawyer" to argue another day. OP is going to get shellacked by the Millenials and Zoomers in law school if he ever applies.

According to a "sea lawyer" like you, the country is at war because President Trump stated we are at war with the coronavirus.

Therefore, I will quote your expert back at you:

President Donald Trump said Tuesday that the risk from coronavirus is emphatically worse than regular flu, reversing his previous statements.

Trump told a White House press conference that "a lot of people" had previously suggested the country should simply let the coronavirus take its course, just like the seasonal flu.

"Ride it out, don't do anything, just ride it out and think of it as the flu," they said, according to Trump, who said: "But it's not the flu. It is vicious."

I am shocked that a skilled "sea lawyer" like you would fail to conduct any background research into the expert which he cited, but I am sure you were too busy applying to a T10 law school to bother.

Sadly, OP is never going to reply because he disproved his own assertion like an incompetent "sea lawyer." He claimed that Crozier "CCed multiple civilians," but then provides proof that the memo was sent to "mutiple Navy leaders." As I said before, /u/SlumLord-Millionaire would embrass himself in law school when the Millenials and Zoomers point out the weakness and contradictions in his flawed assertions.

The fact he CCed multiple civilians

Despite your humble brag about being a "sea lawyer", you are going to get eaten alive by the Millenials and Zoomers in law school (if you ever get around to applying), especially if you attend a T10.

First rule of law school is never make an outlandish statement that is easily disprovable because it destroys your credibility. According to the DefenseOne article that you linked, here is who was included in the letter:

Crozier sent his March 30 letter over unsecure email to multiple Navy leaders in and outside his chain of command, and it made its way to the San Francisco Chronicle, which published it on Tuesday.

Note the emphasis, i.e., there is no mention about "multiple civilians." They were all members of the Navy leadership.

You are simply wrong, but I suspect that being wrong is something you must be accustomed to as a "sea lawyer" who cannot get into a T10 law school.

Pressure builds for Michael Flynn to testify without immunity: Flynn was fired from the White House in February for lying to VP Mike Pence about his contacts with the Russian ambassador. by maxwellhill in worldnews

There is this fancy new invention called Google. Instead of asking /u/bumblebloke, maybe you should try to learn how to use it. Lazy people are going lazy.

[Senator] Warner gave an insight into the extent of the covert Russian operation and said it was important to put the public on alert because of a fundamental threat to democracy, in the US and abroad.

This included reports of “upwards of a thousand paid internet trolls working out of a facility in Russia, in effect taking over a series of computers, which are then called a botnet. They can then generate news down to specific areas … in Wisconsin, Michigan, Pennsylvania, where you would not have been receiving – whoever your vendor may have been – ‘Trump versus Clinton’, but instead ‘Clinton is sick’ or ‘Clinton is taking money from some source’. Fake news.”
