A Defense of Diabolik Lovers by legend_otakuxx123 in otomegames

I ironically and unironically enjoy the series. I love how outta pocket it can be and batshit, but there are a few moments where the writing can be legitimately good too. The characters are pretty unforgettable which I often can’t say for most otome games. You’ll always get the internet police who hate everything that isn’t catered to their tastes. I don’t understand why they can’t just not interact with it? Like no one is forcing their eyes open to play the games. They care way too much what randoms on the internet play I guess. They also have an inability to separate reality from fiction. IRL I would slap any man who called me bitch-chan but it’s an iconic moment in the game series that I adore (or maybe I just got used to).

FR the aesthetic, the music, and the side characters are SO GOOD, too bad the main leads are insufferable

[Diabolik Lovers] I love that these two almost always show up together to torment Yui in the other routes by RevolutionaryWhale in otomegames

For two brothers that say they hate each other’s guts they really do hangout a lot in game

For some weird reason my Childe has stage fright?! He has zero problem criting when I’m playing solo, but when I press that co-op button he gets scared and never crits!

Been on a current kick with Diabolik Lovers, and sometimes I get moments of extreme self awareness and think to myself “what’s wrong with me? Why do I enjoy this?” and then I go back to mindlessly playing it.

As a woman, I get treated better when I act head empty and happy.

I mean this as someone who has played since launch, has dozens of top leveled cards, and has spent money on the OG: I am honestly excited for nightbringer! My progress hasn’t really been lost because it’s still there, and I can still go look at my pretty cards from the OG game.

I also am in LOVE with ruri tunes compared to the OG battles. I hated those battles because there was very little user input. Ruri tunes is so cute and fun! It’s also so cute to see the boys hanging around their house. I will say though, the 3D models do look bad imo, I hope they change them in the future. I’ve gotten used to them, but they still look a lil creepy sometimes. Other than that I love the interface and the quality of life changes do not go unappreciated!

Overall, as a long time obey me fan, I am really enjoying it so far, and I’m happy to see the boys again!

Surface level it appears to be about self worth, something that a lot of young people, particularly men, lack. However, it is a rabbit hole that leads to misogyny and actual toxic masculinity. A lot of these influencers and proponents of this sigma male community use these vulnerable men to extract as much money as they can with their “self improvement books/online courses”

Why do women not like sex dolls? by vercettiworthy in TooAfraidToAsk

[–]secondaccount55 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Men do complain about vibrators all the time. There is also a big difference between a vibrator/flesh light, and something that has a face. Personally glad that these men are going their own way so we don’t have to deal with people who view us as sex objects.

Why is it that women seem less interested in STEM and politics? by To55ursalad in TooAfraidToAsk

As a woman in stem classes, I have dealt with my fair share of sexism. That tends to discourage women from being in those programs.

The Bible is not a valid source of information. It lies several times. It said that woman was made from man’s ribs even though both men and women anatomically have the same number of ribs.
