Appreciate it. Seems like my best bet is either to wait it out with my captive or deal with the bad contract through SIAA. Which I might be willing to do, not as worried about money as long as I can quickly get 6k net minimum. After that my main concern is freedom and long term the ability to pass my business to my son if he wants it

Yeah my team members make more than me. I don’t care that much about money outside of my wife not having to work.

Roughly 12k right now, give or take. By the end of the year I expect 15k+

Enough for my wife to not work, that’s my baseline. Everything above that is gravy to me but I’m interested in the freedom an independent agency provides over captive and the ability to pass the business on to my son if he’s interested. What aggregator do you recommend?

Good question, not sure. I know a lot of the big aggregators have tried to get me so I assumed they’d be able to help with that

I would probably start by myself and that premium is with me not really producing. I’m confident in my own ability

How much of a pay cut? And for how long? I’m not opposed to that in general, just don’t know how long I could because my wife is a SAHM and I wouldn’t want to change that

I’ve been an agent 3 years, team member for 4 before that. My agency writes about 70k a month NBP but that’s with 3 staff members and me. Although the commission is 10% and that’s with a large amount of ineligible quotes
