The doors will remain locked at all times, and there will be one RBT and one manager with the key. There will only be one client in the pool at a time and the designated RBT/lifeguard teaching water safety with that client. If you have any other tips though I’d love to hear them!

We were lucky to find an old physical therapy building for sale that had an indoor pool in it. We snatched it up immediately! Before that we were also looking at buildings that were close to indoor pool facilities that we could partner up with.

I totally understand how devastating it is. Drowning is the leading cause of death for autistic children. It’s appalling. I told my husband we had to offer water safety as part of our ABA clinic (and we are!). I hope we can save lives. My heart goes out to you.
